If 10 million is our goal, and at the rate everything is going, less then 3 days till we hit it.

GPUs still pumping out, ~23k each @ 900 MHz.

I will either find a way, or make one.

If every one keeps folding, 10 million will come on Monday.

Sunday will show considerably less points than the last two days, but don't let that discourage you as on Monday we will have another strong day.

That's good to know but we all need to keep the peddle to the metal as you say. Let's cross the line going as fast as we possibly can.

10 million just seems appropriate for a fellow hand. Most OTR rigs have 10-speed transmissions, and “I’ve got my 10 in the wind” means I'm running in high gear, making good time.

Fired up 10 semi-retired GPUs, rolling everything else over as fast as I can. (using config info provided by texinga - Thanks!)

My condolences to jeffreyham family and may jeffreyham rest in peace.

I've just installed the Windows XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 SMP2 client console version 6.34 (32-bit) on my workplace computer (texinga; thanks for your post #46 instruction) and is busy folding its first work unit in the memory of jeffreyham.
Project: 11040 (Run 0, Clone 533, Gen 35)

By the way, I've never done any Folding@Home project for folding@evga team before this but am doing it for such a worthy cause instead of just usually confines myself to activities over at Crunching@EVGA sub-forum.

I'm back in with you fellas for the final run to 10M for Jeff.  You guys have been "busy" since I had to shut down Sat and Sun for Grand-kids that came to visit.    I'm glad you left me a few WU's to work so that I can rejoin you in the terrific memorial.  10 million is so cool and a fitting number to honor our Folding Brother.

Oh...PS:  I have to say this...how cool is it, the effect that pulling together for this memorial has had upon our Team!  We have people from very diverse situations that have all come back together for this and it feels like a reunion.  As sad as Jeff's passing has been for so many, this is one very significant and positive thing he has imparted.  It has left an impression upon me that I will remember for a long time.  Well done.

I think we should fold once a year using Jeffrey's name. 10 mil. each time. That's about how much his rig would have folded in a year.

Intel i7 3770K @ 4.5 Ghz. / Asus P67 Pro / 2 x EVGA GTX 980 SC / 16gb Corsair Vengeance RAM  / 2 x Crucial 64 gb. SSD / 1 Tb. Seagate / Corsair AX 850  / Corsair H100

Intel i7 3930k @ 4.3 Ghz / Asus Rampage IV Extreme / 2 x EVGA GTX 980 Ti SC  /  32 gb Gskill Ripjaws RAM / 256 gb Vertex 4 SSD / Corsair AX1200i / Corsair H110i GT

That would depend if EVGA is willing to keep his account active and also if his family wishes to keep his account open. I'd like to hear back from some more forum members before I make a request to EVGA and his family.

I agree with doing it every year too.  It certainly would be better to notify the family about our plans after we agree that our Team will do it.  As to the "keeping the account active" here at EVGA, that sounds nice, but maybe we don't need to concern ourselves with that so much?  Wouldn't Jeff's Folding Name and ID remain "active" at Stanford?  For me, that would be enough to allow me to Fold in his honor every year.  I think we should avoid asking the family to have to do anything themselves to manage/maintain that account here.  I think it would be enough that they know we will honor him every year in March and leave it at that.

Why not a Memorial Folding day for all the individuals who are no longer folding with us at this time. It would be nice to do something special for Jeff every year, but adding everyone else who has passed on would be a nice gesture also.

I will either find a way, or make one.

I split the thread so we can keep this one on track, but the idea has to great of a value to be lost inside a thread and not on it's own...
