Hey guys I just have a quick simple question for

If I am going to repasts my card with mx-4 will I need new thermal pads or should the original ones be fine to reuse and is it just a matter of removing the 4 GPU screws to remove the cooler or does the backplate need to come off also?

If you are just repasting the core, you may not need to take the original thermal pads off.

Are you using an ACX card or a blower card?

It is the ACX card 4995 if I'm correct

Ok, on the ACX cards, just remove the 4 spring screws on the back of the pcb. There may be one screw near the I/O bracket (can't remember off the top of my head without looking unfortunately).

You can leave the heatspreader on so that you don't have to worry about the thermal pads. If you do take the heatspreader off, you can simply reuse the thermal pads.

Absolutely. You should take pictures along the way. It's always good to see someone cleaning their card and getting it to run better.
