980ti Hybrid Blower making weird noise

Has anyone experienced this noise coming from the blower of the Hybrid? My bottom one sounds fine. It's just the top one. I'm hoping it will go away but I think this might be an RMA :(

    Definitely doesn't sound right. Was this a 980Ti that came pre-installed with the hybrid cooler? I wonder if it's hitting a wire under the shroud.

    Yes, it was preinstalled and not the kit. I don't think its a wire because when the computer is off, the blower fan seems less smooth than the bottom one when I try to spin it with my fingers. It almost feels like there wasn't any lubricant placed onto the fan...

    In that case, the only solution I can think of before attempting an RMA is if you have an air can around to spray around the fan to dislodge anything that may be preventing it from spinning smoothly. Sorry to hear about this though, looks like you have one nice setup going.

    I'll wait for a few day to see if it will loosen up. If not, I'm start the RMA process - ugh
