Can someone describe what triggers' the GPU utilization limit to be triggered on a 980ti while folding (or link an article)?  My 980ti hits the that limit and throttles to 0% utilization for 2-3 seconds every few minutes.  It's really noticeable because this card does have coil whine (a topic for another thread).  It does happen more often if I OC the card.  Increased voltage doesn't seem to have any impact.
 
Is this just they way it works?  Does Windows 10 cause it?  I'm not actually using the machine that is folding with this card, but it is sitting there running Windows 10 and synchronizing a lightly used OneDrive.

PS. The ASIC quality on the card is 83.5%.  Is that winning the lottery?  Not sure it's helping given the coil whine and all. :)

    That drop in utilization you are seeing is a "frame" of the work unit.

    Have you gone into FAHControl and moved your checkpointing frequency over to 30 min intervals?
