Hi guys, I'm soon going to be getting a 980ti and I'd like to know which one I would be better ordering, the 'Classified' version or the 'Superclocked ACX 2.0+'?

I won't be running the card with a waterblock and any overclocking I do will be fairly light. Budget isn't an issue but I'd like to know whether the 'Classified' would be worth the extra money for me. What's the difference between the two cards?

Thanks for your time

Yes Classified will worth extra money but you will not lose much if you choose Superclocked ACX 2.0.
Card is fantastic with LED Light Fonts on side. Most important thing is fact that card is faster for 1-2 fps than TITAN X reference.
But if you pay in that moment when both of them are available than Classified is better and I always pay little more for Classified.
On one place I saw base clock 1150MHz, on Amazon I saw clock 1190MHz... that's almost 200MHz improvement.
I doubt they will go so high with cards because it would be much less space for OC more, but who knows...
In both case card will be visibly faster than TITAN X.
For me is even GTX980Ti SC reference very nice, but if you had some of cards with similar cooler maybe you want something else, I didn't...

I would wait for the Classy also, looks like it will be the bomb until the KPE hits the market. The best thing about the classy is its larger cooler and extra power phases, whether or not you want to OC it.

The classified will give you an extra 4-5 fps.  If the extra cost is worth that, spend it. If not, save the money.  Just make sure the added 1" width is able to fit your case.

I have the Antec 1100 case with a 970 in now, is it a lot bigger than a 970? I have a Asus Maximus VII Hero mobo btw with a Sound Blaster Zx Sound Card on it also...

Classified will apparently be $20 more than the SC+ (according to the amazon link). Absolutely go for the classified if you can grab it.

I'm in the UK and the difference between Classified and SC is £75 at overclockers dot co dot uk, that's nearly $120

Rip off Britain we call ourselves...

That mean EVGA will give 190MHz overclocked GTX980Ti Classified 1190MHz Base Clock... WOW....
    GTX980Ti K|NGP|N Classified will be probably 1200MHz, 200MHz overclocked...
    EVGA is BEST.

But somehow I have more confidence in 140MHz overclocked TITAN X Hybrid or TITAN X Superclocked.
    Reference board but never mind.
