I was lucky enough a few minutes ago to snag a 980SC:ACX2 at the Egg. They sold out before I could log out and get back in. Hopefully I'll have a comparison with a TitanBlack:SC:ACX done in a few days.

    heh heh I too ordered the same card yesterday. I was probably the other guy who got the last one. At the time of order there was a quantity of 2 available. I'm so stoked about the purchase as I've been waiting for over 2 weeks for it.

    The verdict is in.... The 980 SC:ACX2 gives about 5fps more than the TitanBlack SC:ACX but the T.B. runs smoother and gives a better picture @1440p. The T.B. is stronger but the price difference wouldn't be justified. ps....... I had two 780Ti SC:ACX's and upgraded to the T.B.'s for vram but the picture quality and frame rated were similar enough.

    Yep, the 980 is only 10% faster than 780ti/Titan Black.

    I don't know if I want to re-home the 980 or hold it for future driver tests but the T.B.'s are back in.
