980 ti wont let pc boot into windows.

Problem
The problem is that when my graphics card is plugged in to my computer. The computer will start fine you will hear the two beeps and the monitor will come up asking for my EVGA mother board PC password. I put it in and the EVGA loading screen comes up it has the circle moving loading icon at the bottom like it is waiting to launch something. After that my monitor turns black but the computer is still on.
 
History
I went on vacation around 2 weeks before the problem started happening. When I came back I tried to start my computer and the computer turned on fine I put in my password ( NOT THE WINDOWS PASSWORD)  as usually but my computer monitor automatically turned off. Also when booted with the graphics card in it would boot into a bad resolution 800 x 600
Questions
Is my graphics card burned out?How could I fix this problem?Any way to make this not happen again?Are their any guides on this problemWhy did this happen.What should I do if this occurs again.-Angel

    #1 Remove gpu from computer.
    #2 Boot with integrated graphics.
    #3 Access safe mode.
    #4 Uninstall nvidia drivers.
    #5 Re-install gpu.
    #6 Boot normally.
    #7 Black screen? Yes/No?

    That work!!!!!! But the resolution is stuck at 800 x 600 any fixes for that?

    Yep...
     
    Perform a clean installation of the most recent video drivers:
    • Uninstall Precision X/MSI Afterburner if installed, make sure to select "no" to saving profiles if asked.  Reboot the PC now if you had to uninstall PX or Afterburner.
    • Use DDU (Display driver uninstaller) in safe mode to clean out all your nvidia drivers. Use the clean and restart (highly recommended) option.
    • Download & save the most recent graphics driver to your desktop. You can find the most recent graphics driver here.
    • Run the graphics installer located on your desktop once the download is complete.
    • Select custom advanced install, under custom installation options uncheck all options except graphics driver & physx system software, if you have a 3D capable monitor and would like to use 3D at some point please select both 3D options, check mark perform clean install, then click next to install the driver, reboot when asked.

    When I tried to download NVIDIA software to get the drivers my monitor is currently black what should I do? But I still hear my music going in the background

    I thought your screen was just working? It went black while downloading the most recent drivers?

    Download the drivers in safe mode with networking then do what I suggested in post #4.
