I just got the Rampage V. It is absolutely loaded.

My build was supposed to be:

i7 5960x
64 GB DDR4 Crucial Ballistic Sport
Corsair Hydro H100i GTX
EVGA Supernova T2 80 Plus Titanium 1600 watt
2 x Samsung Reds 512 SSDs
Asus Rampage V
And two 980ti Hybrids with SLI

I've been sitting on the rig for two months now just waiting for EVGA to sort their stocking issues out so I can get the video cards I wanted. My excitement for the rig has slowly been turned towards resentment of EVGA because of it. Such an absolute waste of computation is sickening.

Nice setup. I would go with that socket but it's expensive for a lot of the stuff.

I want the godlike motherboard.

Twas not cheap.
I actually built the computer specifically for these cards. Which just pisses me off even more at EVGA's incompetence with the stocking. The rest of the rig is put together and I still can't even order the cards.

The thing that gets me is this is CLEARLY and EVGA issues and not an nVidia issue. EVGA is the only manufacturer that is having issues with stock right now. Hell, you can't even get a reference card on a 3rd party site from EVGA....you can from any other manufacturer. Getting a bit ridiculous. I ended up saying screw it, bought a reference card and am bypassing the 980 TI hybrid. I would have given EVGA an extra $100+, instead, because they handled this so poorly, I got an EVGA reference and purchased a Corsair H100i GTX cooler. Once Corsair releases the HG10 N980 cooling bracket, I will cool it with the H100i.

Best part, I would have had to wait for both. Instead of $100 for the Hybrid Cooler, I will pay $140 and get a cooler that is 10 times better. Oh well, EVGA had their chance, but they botched it badly.

@Jacob- Any word on when B&H are getting some to fill orders? Seems like only newegg has been receiving any.

Here's what I got in response from customer service about B&H getting any allocation to fill pre-orders.

EVGA Customer Support
Hello,

I apologize for the inconvenience, but we have no ETA on when our web store or our distributors will receive any more of this product. If you wish to be notified when we obtain stock of the product, you'll want to sign up for the AutoNotify function which is in place of the Add to Cart button for the product. Please keep in mind that this product tends to sell out very rapidly and are first come, first serve.

If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us, we're available 24/7.

Regards,
EVGA

Translation: "Good luck, chump!" Yeah, screw you too, guy from customer service paid to give canned responses. As if I needed to be reminded to sign up for AutoNotify (which doesn't notify), or that it will sell out very rapidly, or that it is first come, first serve. I, like others, have had a pre-order from B&H since July 1st (when they expected stock on July 8th), and since EVGA won't send them product, it seems we're better off pursuing a different route. Plenty of people have been waiting longer for stock from other retailers. Fortunately, it seems that the idea of hybrid or AIO water-cooling for the GPU is catching on, so by the next generation of cards, it's likely that we'll have such options from Gigabyte, MSi, Asus, and Zotac, and we won't have to deal with EVGA and their atrocious supply issues.

So you are no longer waiting on the Hybrid from EVGA but you'll wait on the cooler from Corsair, which BTW doesn't even have a release date.  Real smart.

Corsair has already confirmed that it will release no later then the end of this month. Also, this isn't a chip set, a simple stamped bracket with some thermal compound applied to the VRMs...much easier to produce than cards. I am willing to bet I will have my HG10 N980 well before they restock the Hybrid card to the point that I would be able to get one. At this point, they post stock and it's gone in 10 minutes. I don't have the time to sit here and refresh a website. Also, the H100i GTX is 10 times the cooler that the Hybrid solution from EVGA is. So, even if I do have to wait a few extra weeks, my card will thank me.

And instantly void the warranty on a $600+ card.

From the Corsair forums today.

Apparently going to be waiting until September, but I agree that there's no indication that EVGA will have their act together by then anyway. At least you have a graphics card while you wait for the Corsair kit, and you'll be better off with a more efficient cooler when it finally does become available.

Meh, I'm not worried about it. If the loop breaks, Corsair covers damages. If the card is DOA, I will know it before I apply my cooler.

My correspondence -
Hello , my name is Moshe H:

Please be advised that the EVGA GF GTX980Ti HYB 6GB GDDR5 GRAPHCS CARD you have on backorder is estimated to arrive at our warehouse in 5-7 days. As soon as we receive it in stock we will ship your order to you, and e-mail you with the tracking information.

We apologize for the delay to your order and any inconvenience it has caused you.

Please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Thank you, we appreciate your business.

They sent emails every few weeks leading up to now basically saying they were sorry that it was still unavailable. The "estimated" doesn't fill me with confidence, but hey, it's better than I'd received up until this point.

Just be careful if you're getting one of the free games with it. Looks like the code for that expires right when you will actually get the card.

More stock late this week/early next.

Was the most recent sale (2 hours ago) what that post was referring to? Or should we be on high alert for a restock at some point during the first few days of August?

Thanks.

We still have more. Expect to see more this week.

TITANX Hybrid also in stock right now:

Still expect to see more this week? I've been waiting everyday for the drop lol

Well you also have to realize EVGA is the top selling brand of video cards. The hybrid is in high demand. It took me about a month to get one from deciding I wanted one. Of course I slept with the phone next to me so the email notification of it being in stock woke me up.

When the original expected stock date came and went, B&H notified me on 7/9 that they expected stock on 7/18. I inquired again on that date and was told that they expected stock in early August. I called on 8/2 and was told that my order would be filled when they got their stock this week. To no fault of their own, B&H has no control over when they get stock and are only able to relay the information they receive from EVGA, which has been false several times thus far. Because they are at the mercy of EVGA, I will be surprised if this new estimate turns out to be accurate.

Go order from newegg right now as they have them in stock, otherwise don't complain about not having one :P

I'm sure they did. See the thing with newegg is their auto notify system doesn't work most of the time so a lot of people are waiting for a notification taht hasn't came through. I know this for a fact as I put myself on that notification list and I'm still yet to receive a notification.

EVGA had a lot of cards arrive last week which some were sent to newegg, that's what they're selling atm.
