Running an asrock professional x99 mobo with two 980 kingpins in sli and for some reason all of my software (including nvidia control panel) is listing the GPU in pcie slot 4 as the primary GPU and the GPU in pcie slot 1 (which is what my displays are plugged into) as the secondary GPU for sli. Also I've noticed that after gaming for a bit the rgb lighting on the top card turns off and I can't re enable it through precision x, the option is grayed out. I have to shut down completely and the lighting comes back on. The card seems to be working fine otherwise but I can't find anything online about this whatsoever and its driving me crazy. Using the most recent drivers 347.88 I believe.

I would think that the slot issue would just be a reporting error. As for the RGB part, I am not sure unless the card is shutting off.

Are the 5 white leds staying lit?

Sometimes they stay lit but the card continues to work and the fan profile stays in effect.

It may be a bios issue. Contact support and ask them if they can send you the .eye link to refresh the bios for both cards and see if that fixes the LED issue.
