Read a few articles that think this will happen soon.  Any have any ideas or is this just the usual wishful thinking.  Would love to use a tri-SLI of some GTX 9XX in my next build but want to see if a dual chip or Ti is coming out soon.  Here are the links I found: http://www.eteknix.com/next-generation-nvidia-gpu-leaked/ and http://www.hardwareluxx.com/index.php/news/hardware/vgacards/32796-geforce-gtx-980-ti-titan-might-be-based-on-gm200.html.

Those are both two pretty old articles now that came out when the 970/980 debuted, when rumors were just rampant and all over the place. Judging by the last go around they may put a new Titan together, even though Nvidia promised that Titan was a one off LE and would never happen again when they made it, but I don't have as much confidence in that actually happening as I do with a dual chip variant showing up quite soon.

Of course a dual 970 or 980 will come out, they are very expert milkers. And for Titan, of course a new 1000 dollars card will be out, it's full of rich kids that have absolutely no use for compute that will buy it.

Definitely holding for some form of 990, hopefully in a price range competitive with buying two 970's, or some cutting edge overclocking/cooling tech. Gotta power mah 4K, Man!

If a 990 comes out I will sell myself into indentured servitude.

Titan Z is a complete bust.  Not one retailer can get rid of their stock of $3000 cards...lmao.  I own three Gigabyte GTX780 GHz Edition cards and LOVE THEM.  I was even able to get the 3rd one for a whopping $287 before prices jumped back up to $340.  I recently rebuilt my entire system and went all out with liquid cooling and decided NOT to upgrade my GTX780s or my Intel Core i7 3930K.   I could have chosen to upgrade them both instead of going liquid cooled, but after doing a lot of homework I determined the money was much better spent going with the liquid cooling upgrade.  The fact that the GTX970 and GTX980 cards use less power and generate less heat were not factors as part of my decision since I was going to liquiding cooling anyway.  The lackluster performance of the GTX970, GTX980, and the Haswell-E CPUs didn't make the decision very hard at all.  I might think about upgrading the GPUs next year once the GTX980Ti or GTX990 (or whatever the hell it gets called) is released.  Hopefully, a 20nm TSMC architecture, 512-bit memory bus, and more shader units will help the 3rd gen Maxwell perform better than the lackluster GTX970 and GTX980 cards.

For me the Titan and Titan Z started off on the greed side for NVIDIA.
While I do like my Titans Hydro and I paid dearly for them I would still have wished I would have gotten two GTX 890, oh but they never came out. So I really hope that the GTX 990 Hydro Copper comes out from EVGA at around $1200.00
