Hello Guys

since i got the 2nd 980 Ti classy i tried Rise of The Tomb Raider today but the fps stays the same on SLI mode.

there is no fps difference between one card and SLI

but the weird thing is all the 2 gpus are under 100% load.I got second monıtor and i run 2 gpu-zs and i monitor the gpu loads temps and etc. since the msi afterburner and evga precision statistics dont run in Tomb Raider(if there is a way to run please let me know) and what i see is all of my two cards are under load %90-%99  so it seems the SLI is working? but the fps is the same even i  turn the SLI off.

How can i Fix this?

i run the game at very high settings on 2560x1440  just using the SMAA

and of course it is on Dx12 mode should i run it on Dx11 mode in order to benefit from SLI advantages?

that sloppy guy's video below

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DL9PRim8lkM

every settings are the same but he doubles my fps :) but i did not see any where telling the game runs on Dx11 or Dx12  maybe that mus be the difference i dont know

thanks in advance guys

My understanding is that DX12 with ROTTR does not support SLI. Are you sure you selected the second GPU in the second GPU-Z?

DX11 mode in ROTTR does support SLI, so try that.

Also, you could use MSI Afterburner or PrecisionX to monitor GPU usage.

Edit: did you use DDU to uninstall the drivers in safe mode when you installed the second 980 Ti? If not do step two in this guide, and install the latest Nvidia drivers - http://forums.evga.com/Ba...mode-etc-m2451023.aspx

Sounds like you have v-sync/g-sync enabled. Make sure v-sync/g-sync is disabled inside the game/nvidia control panel.

Vsync is already disabled.i just test the game again on Dx11 and the sli nearly doubled my fps.

So it seems sli doesnt work while the dx12 enabled

But the latest patches for the game say that the sli is supported on dx12 mode also etc.. i dont know how to get it work on dx12

Then it appears that DX12 either outputs only the max refresh rate of the monitor, discarding extra frames (supposedly a feature that can be turned on for a game by the developers)...

Or DX12 doesn't really work with SLI still.

I say those things because in DX11 you get higher FPS with SLI enabled, as expected.
