Hey,

I bought a new Evga 980 TI SC+ ACX 2.0+ with Backplate.I'm using it with 4790K and 8GB Ram 1600mhz.Nothing is overclocked.I made a 3D Mark Firestrike test and got this result:

Is it looking fine? Also is there any other programs that I should test the system with?Thanks...

You don't have enough posts for pictures or links yet.

Could you break up the link a little, like this : www(.)evga(.)com and also load the picture to a photo share site like imgr, google+ or something like that, and then use the url feature instead of the uploaded picture, if it will let you?

Try running firestrike. Skydiver is not as graphic intensive as firestrike is.

Quote from skydiver: "3DMark Sky Diver is a DirectX 11 benchmark for gaming laptops and mid-range PCs. "

Using firestrike is meant for high end PC's, so it will actually utilize your gpu better. Skydiver is not a good representation compared. If a laptop can run it, so can a low end gpu :-D. Make your GPU work.

Firestrike ultra would be the best suited for your cpu/gpu combo.

That link goes to a GTX 770 and 3970x benchmark... Did you happen to grab an old link possibly?

Your numbers look good. You may get a bump. In performance if you overclock your cpu and gpu a little.

On the test, it shows the 4790k is still at 4.4ghz.

I'm using the system for gaming so right now it's fine for me without overclock :) I kept turbo boost open for the test. Can I ask you some programs that will test the temperatures and noise of the card? When I use GPU-Z benchmark for 10 minutes I get about 73-74 degrees.I live in a really hot place by the way.

Unigine Heaven on loop will push your temps. Just open it into the scene and just let her rip on loop. Use GPU-Z to monitor your temps, and it will record as it goes and show you the max temp achieved.

I use Hwinfo64 to monitor all aspects of the system, and it tells you clocks, temps, speeds, and even shows you the hard drives and SSD's as well.

Yes you should keep Turbo Boost Enabled or to overclock i7-4790K on 4.5GHz...
That's best option for that processor, over that no reason to go.
I see your result is 18.000 for Graphic card, 14.650 main. I think that's in range of normal results for EVGA 980Ti SC ACX 2.0.
Hexus get 14.800 main result with 4770K overclocked to 4.4GHz...That's similar as your..
Kitguru have 18.100 Graphic score on same graphic as your...
    That mean everything is normal.
I see now you Physics Score is 11.700 on i7-4790K.
Score on mine ex i7-3770K on 4.5GHz was 12.050. but always over 12.000
That mean i7-3770K is still beast. Damn, nice little Ivy... One of best processor I had.

If you check 3DMark Firestrike, 3DMark 11 and Skydiver you should check with Unigine Heaven 4.0 and
Unigine Valley and compare with official results on net.

I noticed a noise from case while playing games especially at menus.I get 3500fps at Witcher 3 menu and there is a huge noise. The noise is like coil whine.I can't tell if it's coming from graphics card or psu.I have Corsair CX750 as psu by the way.How can I find out where is the noise coming from?
