980 SC ACX 2.0 flashed with Macintosh BIOS. How to flash back to default?

My friend found a GTX 980 SC ACX 2.0 on Craigslist for cheap. The seller stated that the only reason he was selling it so cheap was because the previous owner had flashed it with a Mac-compatible BIOS and didn't tell him, and he did not want to go through the trouble of fixing it to run on his Windows machine.
 
After contacting the seller, he and my friend worked out a potential trade - the seller would give my friend the 980 in exchange for my friend's GTX 970 Windforce. However, neither I nor my friend know anything about flashing a GPU BIOS. I'm sure it's doable, but how could we go about doing that?
