Ok, for all those K|ngp|n owners out there please post your day to day OC that you use for this card.  Preferably air cooling, but would like to see all modes.  I haven't found a great site that is trackign what this card can to.

So far the only stable clocks I can get are the following +100 on gpu clock and +90 on vram.  I am still testing so these numbers may change.

So please post your gpu clock, vram, power target, voltage, which bios switch you are using, and cooling method.

I will go first:

Chiptouz:   +100 gpu Clock;  +90 vram;  +170 Power target;  +0 voltage; Stock Bios; Air

System Specs: Intel i7-7700k @ 4.8ghz, Noctua NH-U14S, Asus ROG Max. IX Code, 16GB GSkill Trident Z RGB DDR4 3600, ASUS STRIX GTX 1080TI OC, ACER XB270HU, 1x Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe SSD 240GB (OS), 1x SanDisk Extreme Pro 480gb SSD and 1x Intel 730 480gb SSD R0(Games), 1x WD GR Sata3 4.0tb (Programs and Media), 1x BL Sata3 6.0tb (Backups), EVGA 1000 P2, CoolerMaster hafX, Logitech G502,G910, Win10 64bit Home Premium.

Seems a bit low for that card
Even on air you should be able to hit or close to 1600c and 4000m

You would think.  For some reason I think it needs more voltage.  For some reason I can't get the voltage to go any higher that 1.232v.  This is software gained and not using a multimeter.

Could be that I am using the stock bios and not the oc bios.  I haven't tested that yet.

Well what are you waiting for?
Go use that OC BIOS and add some voltage to that bad boy

If you use stock BIOS and close to default voltage I would be satisfied with 1530MHz boost and stable card.
Clock for that card is higher and they need more voltage than you get with software and need higher power limit and excellent cooling. Under 100mV voltage increase she will not feel at all.
Did you try to play new games on 1500MHz Boost with default voltage, that would be OK card, nothing special but not bad.
For overclocking over that you immediately start to search unofficial BIOS and flash card.
First day I would OC K|NGP|N 30-40MHz with BIOS Tweaker.
On that way I would feel excellent because card would be few MHz faster than Matrix Gold and Boost would be close to 1500MHz.
And I would be satisfied with that.

Vlada - that is really what I am trying to find out.  Thanks.  I wasn't sure what I was getting was normal.  I wished that the ram overclocked a little better, but I agree a stable card is the best bet.  Now hopefully others will post their details.

1530 to 1550 is normal on stock voltage with these card, 1.200V to 1.212V is what I have seen these run at stock. I would use the probeIt header and a voltage meter to test your voltage if using the classified tool, software like PX and GPU-Z will not read past 1.212V. Also there is the voltage switches on the card to increase your voltage by 0.050V, that is with both switches turned on.

I run my SLI at 1506GHz core and 1850GHz memory at stock voltage for every day use.

Here is one of my firestrike runs, I think that was with the core around 1550GHz boosted.

My daily air settings with the KPE4c bios are +100 core and +400 memory with no added volts in SLI. I will have my blocks setup as soon as I'm confident everything is dry .... don't ask ...... I'm hoping for +200 and +600 with a max of .37mv added.

I can run +150/500 with .25mv added on a single card now I just choose not to.

My daily setting is stock on all three cards... No gain in overclocking, so no point in wasting the time. Will be testing benchmarks soon. Just have to figure out what it takes to cool this cpu down.

Stable gaming clocks are 1533Mhz GPU (1.23v on DMM), 8400 RAM (1.705v).  Asics 74.3%.  Using KPEXc4 bios although there isn't much difference to clocks regardless of what bios I use unless I start pumping in the voltage the modded bios scales better with higher voltages such as kpex4pc or  kpex2pc although to get to 1550Mhz it requires 1.39v which is almost impossible to keep cool unless fans are howling.
    Firestrike 13028 with 3570K@4.7GHz.

Ok, so I think I know the limits on my 980 K|ngp|n using the stock bios, stock voltage, and air cooling.  Here we go:

Chiptouz:   +108 (1538) gpu Clock;  +740 (4245) vram;  +100 Power target;  +0 voltage; Stock Bios; Air; firestrike (Score) 13878.

My issue was my mobo bios and potentially my old cpu oc.  I am rock stable now.  Here are those details.

Asrock z97 extreme6, bios 2.10, i7-4790k at Core at 4.6ghz, Uncore at 4.4ghz, vcore at 1.232, uncore voltage at 1.20, g.skill trident x at 2400, XMP2 - rest of the details are below in my sig.

When you say 13.878 that's not Graphics Score.
You mean on main score. That's great. I would be happy on your place.
    That's OK card. Nice result.
You should move power slider more than 100%.
    Push little more forward.

Vlada - For some reason It doesn't seem to make a difference when I move the slider all the way to +170 or leave it at +100.  What do you think is a good place to leave it?  +120?

If it doesn't make a difference, leave the slider alone. I don't notice much difference when I move the slider on mine yet either.

Bumping it won't hurt, but I looked at the PCB when installing my Waterblock, and didn't see some of the items that are used for the power slider and regulation. I had planned on doing the mod to completely negate the need for the power slider. I may have missed them, but for now, I assume they could have left them out for good reasons.

That's good if make no difference. Start some test as 3DMark Firestrike EVGA Precision X minimize and after test finish check
Power %. If max Power is 90% than leave, if touch 100% you need to increase on 110% and than check again.
Leave power always for 10-20% higher because card will drop clock in 3D test.
Even better if you can check with EVGA OC Scanner and align Power with max boost clock.
