Evening folks,

I apologise if this has already been asked on this forum, I did a brief search and came up empty.

I bought the EVGA GTX 980 (well, a 970 then did the step up) and had this for 13 months now.

I RMA'd the original 980, forgot what for now, and got what I believe to be a certified repair as a replacement. The problem I'm having now is that the GPU drivers are crashing constantly and locking the core clock mhz to either 405 or 539, as you can imagine while gaming, that is quite annoying!

Other than re-installing the GPU drivers 3 or 4 times a day, does anyone know of any other solution to this? I'm not sure EVGA would accept this under RMA for that reason.

I've asked on the Windows 10 forum and got one reply from one of the guys there, telling me to uninstall my network adapter (for some reason?)

I have tried re-installing Windows and I'm still faced with the same problem.

I'm currently running;

Mobo: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H
CPU: i7 4770k (not OC'd)
RAM: 32GB Corsair 1600Mhz
PSU: Corsair HX850i
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit

Appreciate any assistance!

CPU: Intel i7 4770k
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz
GPU: EVGA GTX 980 FTW
PSU: Corsair HX850i
MOBO: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H

    Sounds like the card is unstable. Try running the card in debug mode (#3) to see if it helps prevent the driver crashes.
