Just tried Dying Light, everything max 1080p and no problems at all. Constant 60fps with some framedrops to 30fps during cutscenes (ingame, not prerendered. I think it was cause because game does not have triple buffering so I should enable NVIDIA adaptive v-sync) One strange thing is that video memory quickly reached utilization up to 3532MB and it did never go over above this border at any cost. What could that mean ? Very strange I would say. I had very few occasional lags but this could not be cause because whole 3.5GB partition was utilized. So I'd better set medium shadow mapping and the vram utilization was up to 3GB.

In any case this game is not optimized very well because most of the time cpu core1 is utlized on 100% and other cores up to 30 - 40%. This could bottleneck the card. On older rigs this game can cause troubles. But in 1080p this game is perfectly playable on 970 with constant 60fps.

Very sad, one faux pas after another... So they are not going to provide us anything, no driver updates, no compensations, nothing. I'm very upset with this approach. My money goes to AMD next time.

What makes you think so ? I assume that at the beginning they were really trying to fix that and that comment from NVIDIA member was posted. But most probably they realized they can't do anything with that so they've deleted that part. But praying to god I'm wrong....

But this comment was originally created by PeterS and afterwards changed by him, so why would he delete that part regarding driver update? Makes no sense...

I have a single 970 and it performs pretty good. Max setting, constant 60 FPS most of the time. Only in places with lot of zombies the FPS drops bellow 60fps to appx. 50 fps but this is bug in the game because my GPU is barely loaded only at 70%. View distance I have all the way off, I did not notice a difference between off and max. settings. VRAM usage up to 3.5GB most of the time. No stuttering whatsoever. What about you experience with DL ? What do you think about that drawing distance ?

i run the game all max and fps is very variable 50-120,over 200 if i look at sky,.... depend on situation...I see no graphics difference between  put the visual distance to a minimum or maximum, but if I put it to a minimum increase of 10fps. for me the use of the VRam does not go over 3.5, if it uses the Vram better i'm sure we'll get a better FPS value. No stuttering whatsoever except in rare cases while in co-op, but I depend more from bad game optimization.
i also follow few step to optimize game by myself like remove grain filter etc etc.
