970 sc acx 2.0 black screen talk/diagnosing

Hi guys:



I have a problem with my EVGA GeForce GTX 970 Superclocked ACX 2.0r. I have random black screens while i playing and I don't know why. I monitor the gpu temps in game and its ok around 70ºC, it isn't overclocked and its updated.

It's random, it can happen at 10 min 1h or 3h. When the black screen happens the pc still works but the monitor goes into energy save mode and it says there isn't signal from pc and i have to turned off from tower button and turned on again because if i press the reset button only the computer resets but the monitor stills in energy save mode.

 I have  played Company of Heroes 2 and Metro   i had black screens, 





I don't know if it could be a driver problem or a hardware mode but the stress tests furmarkt and Ungine Heaven works well on max settings. Should I process the warranty??? Wait for new drivers??? I'm frustrated because i barely bought this pc and i have had this problem.Tried all the most basic things a person can think of my pc cheeks out fine tested everything guess  i'm not the only one with this problem.

    can someone from evga can in cantact to the techs and get me a awnser if theres gonna be a fix for this problem or should i rma my card?

    Downclock the card by 150MHz on both the core & memory first to see if it helps. If downclocking helps resolve the issue rma the card.

    I see that evga on thier website they  have listed  04G-P4-3974-KR which is the same card i have but with just a +.Did they make those cards to fix the black screen issue?Kindly get back.

    This is the same issue I'm having - the card is defective, but unless I find someone who fixed this issue by RMAing the card, it appears to be a design fault which appears identical to the issue 980 FTW cards have/had.
