How many times did you miss it? Did you give a home shipping address or a post office box? If you gave a home address, it should have went to your home, and you shouldn't have needed to pick it up at the post office. The box isn't all that big, just slightly larger than the backplate itself.

Send in a support ticket using the email support@evga.com or call the number listed under the support tab at the top of the page. That is strange that the post office didn't deliver it if your shipping address was for the house.

    Dear nightwing2007,

I can confirm that with promotions like this one we do ship through the postal service. If you can please email me at chrisb@evga.com with the PO Box address that you do receive mail at and I will work to have another backplate shipped to that address to assist.

If anyone else needs help with your promotional backplate then please do not hesitate to email me at chrisb@evga.com as we are here to help.

I can confirm that we only make one 970 backplate for both the SSC and the FTW.  I am not aware of any film on the thermal pads where they touch the PCB board, but if there is then it would be recommended to remove it.
