My graphics card is not getting recognized. I think it is not being recognized at the BIOS level. I have tried connecting the power via the Y-cable and without it. I have updated my bios to the latest version and followed the manufacturers suggestions for fixing problems with PCIE cards ( I tried various bios settings (turned PCIE to Gen 3, turned on PCIE native powrmanagment and made Pcie primary display; turned on multi monitor ), but nothing makes the card show up in the windows devices manager. Nvidia drivers refuse to get installed because they dont see the card. As far as I understand the card has a defect.
Did I miss anything? I mean as far as I know the H97M Plus Asus motherboard is compatible with the GTX960, right? Any bios settings I should try?
other specs:
core i5 4590
Cooler Master B500 ver2
Veangance lp corsair 8gb ram
Windows 7 64bit
I am currently running windows via the i5 graphics. (And yes I repeatedly plug the monitor into the graphics card to try to see a result)
