I am having issues updating the BIOS in this MB.

The FTP doesn't work, it just hangs so I am unable to get the BIN file. The ISO file isnt working also. Even with the CD ROM disk with the NF78_P10.iso during the boot loader, it doesnt recognize the file and AWDFLASH utility doesnt show. If I ALT+F2 it loads fine but I completely cannot interact with it and it doesnt show the BIN or the ISO, its just blank and I have to restart. If I go into the CMOS setup, i can toggle everything fine so I know I dont have keyboard issues. I cant update this BIOS for the life of me and now Im left with trying to do a BAT / AWD / BIOS boot disk as a last ditch effort but again, cannot get the BIN to do it. Where do I go from here?

PS trying to update to install a AMD R9 270.

    Thanks for the info trepcsuit, I'll forward this to the higher ups to get it patched.

    For now use this for the iso
    or
    This link for the exe (for floppy install)

    I don't see a bin file on the links available but let us know if you run into any other issues

    Yeah, it's been removed for a while now..Only .iso and .exe available these days..Same as for some (maybe all, haven't checked in a while) of the other older boards.

    @trepcsuit..You were trying to put a standard NF78 780i SLI BIOS (P10) into an E178 780i FTW (SZ17) = No go.
