you need to overclock you will see a huge difference.
If you are talking about overclocking a GTX 980 then to be fair you must also overclock a GTX 780 TI. Wait there's a guy that has already done the work for us on Youtube.

One card is a little faster in one game or scene and the next card is faster in another game or scene. I call this a tie. If this isn't a tie after watching all of his videos then it's pretty darn close and you can't go wrong with either card.
