What BIOS are you currently running? If it's 49, it's the BIOS, flash back to a previous version. I flashed to BIOS 49 and my MB was reading my RAM as Dual channel and only 4GB of the 6GB is usable, I flashed it back to S61J and it's back to normal.

I had the same problem. Try turning off virtualization in your bios. That usually allocates memory for other programs (xp mode).

tsunami231 My bios is reporting Tripple Channel 4gbs bios is 44 on my 757 Mine too. I've tried 44, 49, and the two releases prior to 44. Bioses before that won't even post with more than one stick of memory installed. 44/49 post showing 4GB, but windows and the EVGA E-LEET utility show 6GB installed (though Windows says only 3.99GB is usable). The result is the same whether I use the stock settings (2.8ghz for my i7-930) or if I try to overclock. Anyone else here RMA'ed their board? Best,

Best, yep that is exaclty my problem, I have not RMA my board but then if I do i just gona bring back to the store i got it from cause i got warnetty there, but I concerned doing that isnt gona fix the problem, I use to be able to boot up 80% of time with the original bios the board came with but I dont know which that was, I just know with 44 I seen it boot wiht 6gbs@1600 once and that was when I monkey wiht 1.750v for dimm and 1.450v with QPI, and I already switched from XMS3 ram to Dominator ram and that did nothing to fix problem Less it really does have something to do with the 2 bent pins it had that i tried to bend back

Just finished my build after a 7 month hiatus.. booted up first time without a hitch... BUT I too have 6GB (3.99 useable). Dominator/2000mhz, Win7 64. With so many reporting the same thing I doubt it's the board...

it could be a problem with your socket, I had that problem and clamping pressure was to tight. or your windows could be borked.

Most of the time this problem can be attributed to 1 of 4 possible causes. 1: CPU heatsink or block tightened to tight. 2: VTT not set high enough to drive all channels. 3: MSConfig settings. 4: LOW GAP Memory setting in bios set to high.

aaron.dunphy I am having this same exact issue intermittently. Sometimes I boot and it posts the 6 GB and Win 7 shows all 6 GB and other times I boot and it posts 4GB and Win7 shows 6GB (3.99GB usable). Has anyone opened a problem to EVGA support? I am having this same issue. It's completely random every time I turn on my computer.

Same issue here. Same BIOS ver. as when I installed it. In fact nothing has changed with my rig. I remember it showing the full 6 gb one day. And then a month later went into 'Computer' to show a friend my windows index and noticed the 3.99 usable. MSCONFIG is good. RAM has been reseated w/o change. Windows and E-Leet see 6 gb installed In fact I haven't even opened my case since it was built. I don't want to flash BIOS unless absolutely necessary.
