I've got two 670 FTW cards and both their backplates are leaking. I've treated them kindly, no overclocking, they've only hit 70+ °C once or twice for a few minutes. What do?

This is a normal occurrence.  There is a little oil that leaks out of the thermal pads.  There is nothing to worry about in my opinion.  Every card I've seen with backplates and thermal pads it happens.

Any EVGA rep here on this forum that can shed some light on this matter?

As kpforce1 has stated, the thermal pads on the backplate secrete an oily substance. This is completely normal and will not effect the performance of the card in any way.
