is any of this true? Can none hit 5- on a EVGA p67? Can you really not adjust vcore? They say a sucker is born every minute? I have waited (and waited) for a P67 FTW w ECP and EVgauge? I have no idea if/when it will be released, now that vanilla P67 FTW's are sold out, will this mean a delay for K2s? Can anyone at EVGA say when/if the EVGA P67 with ECP and EVGauge is coming out and can any users here post up something with Vcore bumped? We were told that late last week they'd be available, then they never came. What is up w/ that? Do the WS Revo and UD7 look good? Yes, they do. Do I want them? No I want an EVGA board plz and tyvm. Have I waited, yes I have? It would be nice if someone would respond to the OP or to any of these questions. I'm about to drop coin on a board I hope comes out m/t/w of this week, I also hope I can hit 5 w the megahalems (on their way from the egg) and Delta 120 push/pulls. Would be great if the people who have waited so long could get, just a little feedback from the powers that be. Is there Vcore upvolting supported in the Bios (even the new one is fine)? Will the K2s drop early or late this week? Can anyone who is just a "regular guy" post any SS's of something at or above 5g-? At this point I am sort of kicking myself for not signing up to be notified for a vanilla FTW that I'd probably already have installed by now. I hope that them selling out (unable to buy on EVGA store or newegg) does not delay the K2 release. To the kind and loving people of EVGA: when you send me the notify email, I will immediately go to your store, following link and buy a K2, will that be good enough? I sure hope so, I am sure looking forward to a build this week

yeah i can game on it at 4.9 but it does get crazy hot fast do to the voltage. once they fix the auto/manual issue i think i can get 4.9 @ 1.3v. i cant seem to hit the 5.0 mark just yet but if could control the voltage up to 1.4 i think i could get it(again crazy hot). i havent run superpi on it just prime95. will run that now for ya. (um 8s i think is your answer @4.6 mhz) atm i have been playing @ 4.6 w/ speedstep on to keep it cooler and clocked down for when im surfing and it doesnt seem to be slowing any of my games atm.

I've read a lot of posts regarding the BIOS issue that prevents vCore from being changed from the default (AUTO) setting. eVGA is aware of this and they are working on the solution. I'd be willing to bet this is the real problem you're having.

I agree and it depends on what you consider crazy hot. Most of the people i've seen overclock their i7-2600k's into the 4.9Ghz and above territory have 1.38v or higher and their temps are in the 70's under full load. Not saying that's about the average.

Whoa! I don't have one of these yet. I'm just going by the (still) very few user reports. I'd sure like to see some (make that A LOT of) reports from owners that have no problems getting high, completely stable, usable clocks from this board. The only reason that I'm buying into this platform is the promise of stable 5GHz.+ OCing. I almost completely gave up on these EVGA boards until I realized that all I've read is a bunch of pissing and moaning about the problems people are having. That isn't a bit fair to either EVGA or me. There is no way to know how many people have decided to forget these EVGA boards because of this. Including a lot of people that have just dropped in and are not registered users of this Forum, and have been completely turned off by nothing but complaints. EVGA will never live down the way too long period of time when these boards weren't ready for sale. They've lost all sorts of rep because of this. Let's do them, and us, the favor of not nailing the coffin shut without giving them the chance to atone. If these boards don't start exploding or fade away into another reality I'm gonna buy one this week. Jacob's will be done!

I Still have to admit it is unsettling that this late in the game there are still issues, and postponed releases, again. What delay could there be on the P67 FTW with the EcP and EVgauge? Did EVGA put some aside for the K2 and are just not selling P67 FTWs? I am not sure I can wrap my head around that conundrum. One question, does Foxconn make the P67s for EVGA as they have been contracted out to make other EVGA boards? tfannon they released a board which would not allow you to manually adjust the vcore? are you kidding me? the extra 4 months was not enough to test this and get such a basic function working? This is the the most accurate thing said in this thread. Super late release, and basic bios features are buggy? My patience is worn out, I have buyers for all my LGA 775 Parts. I love you EVGA but my Sandy Bridge experience will be in the form of this little guy, coming tomorrow by 5pm. Sorry guys.

I know it's my dumbass fault, but I sold my i7 and evga classified 3 weeks ago in anticipation of the p67 ftw K2. I have all the parts sitting in my closet collecting dust like my 2600k, dual gtx 480's, vertex 3 120gb, corsair dominator gt 2000mhz and I can't do anything about. I am stuck to using this sony vaio laptop that can barely run quakelive =(. Pretty soon I will have no choice but to cancel my order on amazon and get a z68 board or something at Fry's. Not hating on EVGA, I have been a customer for many, many years now, but I have been let down by this whole delay situation, tbh.

With the exception of your 2000Mhz memory, I've got the same parts you have for your build. I didn't wait for the second release of the FTW (didn't really need the front panel control) and have been running my system now for almost two weeks. Set it up for 4.4ghz tonight (VCore on Auto). I hear problems some of the folks have had and I'm just not experiencing the issues. Updated the BIOS, now am patiently waiting for the EVGA crew to resolve the manual VCore issue (which they will). Only time will tell if this board (or any manufacturer's board) will hold up and prove itself to be a truly quality product. Having said that, I'm very happy with the EVGA P67 FTW. Processor OC's well and temps are low. Rock on.

Some SB cpu's hit a wall at 4.8 no matter what you do. If you can adjust vcore, and you have B2 stepping, hitting 5+ or better should be pretty doable. Might I suggest this guide, I've never read a better SB oc guide http://www.overclock.net/...dge-oc-guide-p67a.html
