So far the highest I can get is 4.8 with vcore at 1.39 The most I could get out of my Asus P8P67 Deluxe was 4.5 stable.
OK, Another interesting post. apparently he's getting 4.7ghz with no Vcore?? is this a bug?

Hi all. Need some advice. I've recently sell my E760 classified and i7 920. Not sure why. Thing is, now I want to return to gaming world, and as my classy has been so good, maybe I'm not liyng if I say the best motherboard I've had since 1998. No problems at all, and this forum has been great. I was looking to go for a p67/2600k combo, and as EVGA is such a great brand and supporting, I wanted to buy some EVGA motherboard, but when I started reading about P67 FTW, I'm seeing lots of troubles that I don't know if there has been fixed yet. I want a OC motherboard that has no limitations as Classy was. I'm now in doubt about a EVGA P67 FTW or a ASUS Maximus IV extreme. Please any advice is welcome. Cheers.

Is it more or am i asking to much? I feel like even though it gets to 5ghz its still to much vcore and temp. Even with CvJones H70 WC kit its still hiting 78c. kinda dissapointing to me. i thought these new cpu's were less energy and more speed.

Remember the H70 isn't a 'hard-core' WC'ing set up. More or less an entry-level water cooler.

i think i might have a few issues with my loop: not having push pull on the rad a slight kink in the hose from the rad to the res i'm not sure its getting a good seating on the cpu block not sure if the 580 is slowing the pump down a lot on the cpu block i had to use the "alternate" input port setting edit: after thinking about this for a few mins, does anyone else have anything to compare against mine? esoogyerg i understand what your saying and may even think your correct that is should be cooler but i guess i need to see someone elses to bounce the numbers off of. i am about 4'C cooler then cvjones's

Quote Jacob: "I've done around 5.4, but yes there is a current bug that may not allow you to set anything other than auto voltage that is a top priority right now. 4.4ghz+ should be no problem." is this fixed?

Yes this was taken care of very promptly by EVGA. Everyone who had affected motherboards got Next Day Cross Shipped RMA's. The company handled it extremely well.

Since thsi thread popped up again i have a question. As most of you know with many posts. i am not happy with my temps on the new H80 cooler. when i get to 5ghz i see 90c+ load. but thats not my concern as i plan to WC in the future and take care of that. My question has to do with vcore and getting 5ghz stable. i noticed that i cant even log in window at 5ghz unless i am at 1.52volts! is this considered a Chitty cpu with having to go that high for the speed or the P67 or could it be a setting that could help with this? I have followed jacobs overclock thread to the tee! and even looked through Wrinvert setting to compare and im sure im good. any thoughts?
