CPU Multiplier Control: Manual
CPU Multiplier Setting: 44
BLCK Frequency Setting: 100
CPU Voltage Mode: Adaptive
CPU Voltage Target: 1.285
CPU VIN: 2.000
CPU VIN Droop: Disabled
Bios 1.05 beta
Ram just standard 2133 for now.
I can run it at 4.4 but I cannot increase the ring. Anything higher than 3.6ghz it will not boot. Can't even go in bios. Have to reset bios. I have tried increase ring voltage to same as CPU but it still cannot go higher than 3.7ghz. Tried increase the blck but didn't work either. Any idea? Thx!

If I may ask what is the Ring Voltage?
Are you planning on updating to Bios 1.06 when ready?

I have tried ring voltage as much as CPU voltage. It doesn't seem to make any difference. Won't boot at all with ring higher than 3.6ghz. Anyone else try to OC the ring yet?

really?  Did you try just leaving the voltage on auto?  I just changed the mult to 44 and everything is fine.  Games CPU is about 45 degrees.  Prime 60ish.

Nope.. doesn't work. Nothing works with Ringer higher than 3.6
I hope bios 1.6 will fix it.  Or do you think something's wrong with the CPU?

Ring can be REALLY touchy, like an IMC on an X58, sometimes you can move them really high, other times not so much.  This may improve as the BIOS matures.

I have not had any luck moving the ring voltage or frequency at all.  I'm currently at 4.5GHz, adaptive, +300 offset.  Everything else default (including memory, which seems to be incredibly touchy when I try to increase it.)

I don't understand why you are playing with the ring voltage.  If you are at 4.5 using adaptive there is no issue, your done, congrats you have a successful OC.

To see what happens. That's half the fun of doing this stuff.

I have the same issue. If I increase the ring, I get post code 62.  I am stable at 4.5Ghz @1.25v, +50 offset.  Cinebench R15 single core score (140) is 20% less than 4770K at 4.4Ghz.  This is why I want to increase the ring.  From what I understand is that you want to keep the ring close to CPU as much as possible.

Ring can help, having it as close as possible to the CPU multi is ideal, however us very rarely attainable.  Ring 1:1 with CPU multi is going to get similar results to X58s trying to run Uncore at 3x RAM speed (really, anything above 2x), sure on paper it could be definitely faster, but usually makes things terribly unstable.

Thank you. the problem is that the "RING" it is impossible to change. You can't go above 37 x because the system crashes. You can not ' do bench as 3DM11 performance with ring x 37 and 4900 overclok GHz. the card is unusable if not solve do RMA

I'm sorry, but I don't really follow that.
I understand your CPU won't adjust RING above 37x (an RMA on the motherboard is unlikely to have ANY effect, its more CPU than anything else) but you can't run3d mark 11 at 4900 with 37x RING?  Have you tried the RING lower?
You also stated the card is unusable, which card are you referring to?

FYI, when i was benching with K|ngP|N and T|N a few weeks back, and this was on LN2, the RING was hardly touched, and they broke some records with a lower RING than you are using now.

Frankly, 49x RING is not realistically attainable.

I don't speak well English and maybe you can't a understand me. the ring you can't change. If I try a 38 X and esco from the bios the computer will not start and I have to reset the bios tariff. This is not acceptable. Performance of 3 DM 11 37 X and con ring s and lower than the result combimato and cotesta is less than my 4820K. other people have problems with the ring

Sorry, I forgot one thing I haven't seen K records | ngP |N and T |N in 3 DM performance with X 99. ne on ' HWBOT ne on futuremark. in tests like FIRE STRYKE and other bench the RING does not affect

Good luck raising ring frequency above 36x on anything but an Asus board with the OC Socket.

I don't understand what you mean, the problem is that the ring cannot change because computer lock. My is 4900 overclok Ghz
