that beeing said, isn't that a bit high voltage for just 5 ghz? ..  have heard that 990x and 980x should go 5 ghz just as easily as the sandy bridge CPU's ?

yeah its this crappy es I have. its the right stepping but the voltage is weird. it was free so I don't care if it dies. I have my 980 still in the box. This one was for beating up.

 
how can the voltage be sooo much off balance?.. should be way lower :).. that voltage should be enough for like 6 ghz :P
