Imo. This makes no sense unless for technical reasons. Currently I have it on the default master bios. Where the fan does not spin until needed. Now this is regarding power target and the fans. How they work. If you flip the switch to the other bios. It will allow 115% power target with the fans always spinning. Why would EVGA make a decision like that? Because with the master bios. It only allows 110% power target. I LOVE how the fans do no spin until a certain temp. How come 115% power target and no fans spinning until a certain temp. Like the master bios supports. Could not be supported as well with the other bios? I don't want the fans spinning 100% of the time but want that 115% extra power target. Ugh!
They call the second bios "performance bios" that is grand with the extra 5% power target. But, once again. Why have the fans spinning 100% of the time. Especially when working on desktop etc. I use Precision while gaming for games only. So, I can make those changes with in that. But, it goes back to desktop work etc. Fans running 100% not needed imo at all.
