Nice. Apart from cinebench is there any benches that do better with more RAM?

Well, per the screenshot, it's G.Skill memory and the part number of each stick is F3-15200CL8-4GBRHS.  So if it truly is going to be sold in a 48GB kit, I would imagine the kit part number would be F3-15200CL8-48GBRHS (or something very close to that).  G.Skill doesn't have anything remotely close to that on their website, so I'm guessing our good friend shamino got the hook-up from G.Skill.

aye, thx, I read that info bit in those screens but man.. cant find it yet   - I would be most interesting to know the chip brand inside that heat package so we can scavenge the net or something in that order, I found my ram in my current machine in sig with the exact same chip from another brand name / or shall we call it a more fancy heatsink device.. at round 30% less top price of the other brand that sells the exact same thing, I was happy at that day I was scavenging while the other brand had sold out on their fancy heatsink design in any case

    Peter,
    I'm confused.
    Those are E5640's?
E5640's are quads not hex but you show hex cpu's.
I have a pair of E5640 B1 quads that I'm going to try in the SR2 tonight.
Also certain parts of my body shrivel up and retreat into my body JUST at the thought of tossing 1.5VTT at any 32nm cpu's!

    Shamino,
With some of those voltages as high as they were, what kinda temps were you at outside the CPU's?  What were the VREGs at?  Or are you already doing some advanced chipset cooling? ... Thanks Joe

    Nice!  That's some sweet RAM!

But whoa, that's a lot of VTT.

If the SR2 is set up like other boards for monitoring (I assume it is), the real VTT at the socket will be a lot lower. The monitoring IC sits at the high side of the power plane and the buck controller is over -volted to counter resistive losses. So if you set 1.40V in BIOS, the BIOS will apply 1.47V. 0.07V of that will be lost via the power plane and the actual voltage at the socket will be 1.40V. This is how EVGA does their '"get what you set" for this rail. If Sham is setting 1.45V, the real voltage will be around 1.39V under full IMC load (E-LEET monitoring will read it higher regardless). You can measure at the VTT measuring point for a more accurate figure with a DMM as it's linked to the under socket power plane.
