To make a Bootable CD from with in Windows
You would download the ISO image that has a .zip extension. .tar files would be for UNIX/Linux. ( http://www.memtest.org/download/1.5...6+-1.51.iso.zip  {Memtest.ISO}) Then use  Http:www.winzip.com to extract the ISO image to the same directory that you downloaded it to. Then using CD-R software you will burn the image to CD.
Note: Do not copy the image; there is usually an option under file or burner to burn image. Then you would simply re-boot the system or put the CD in the system you want to test and set the bios to boot from CD first or before the HDD.

Do you have another system or have a friend that has one that will let you try your cards in? I know this will be a bi*** but could you try remounting your cpu cooler. I have been looking in other forums and it seems if the cooler is tightened too much it could cause issues w the imc. I made a thread in the x58 forum pointing to this thread with the hope of getting someone who knows the x58 platform better can really point you in the right direction. Im really sorry that I havent been able to help more but I will keep trying to help and hopefully well figure it out soon

I would download Drive sweaper, and select all Nvidia display and physix drivers. something may have curropted a driver, and replacing a driver sometimes does not get all the old stuff out. another option, if this is a new system, is either a fresh install or system restore. If the problem started after the precision install, and removal, but wasn't doing it before.  

I seriously doubt that you have a video card issue.
You need to back up to square 1

Remove EVERYTHING

All you should have to start is a Motherboard, CPU, One stick of Memory, and One Video Card.


Now have only your OS Hard Drive installed and a optical drive, forget about the other hard drives for now.

Now make sure you have the voltage and timing specs for your memory written down.

Boot the rig and go directly into your BIOS. Verify that you are NOT overclocked and that your memory is at the proper voltage.

Boot the rig and benchmark it with that card and memory stick. Helps if you have your cards and sticks labeled.


Rinse and repeat for each stick and card assuming that it starts doing fine which it probally will.

Then power the rig down, leave just ONE video card in, and start adding memory. Put in the second stick in the proper slot for DUAL channel. Boot it up and run benchmark. if that passes add the third stick in and make sure the sticks are in the proper slots for TRI Channel Memory. Boot the rig and benchmark again.

A good rule of thumb is to bring a system to life with only whats needed to function and no overclock as this can help prevent possible errors during windows install.

If the system will complete the benchmark with 3 sticks in and one video card shut it down and pull out 2 memory sticks and put in another video card. There is a combination somewhere that is causing the conflict.
In all seriousness, filling all 6 slots isn't always a good idea, I promise you your not gonna need that much, I am only running 6GB and never get close reguardless of the game. And one systems in the past, filling all the slots has caused me nothing but problems. Post back the results and lets work from there.

On the actual mb there should be a little display. could you see if it posts any kind of code when the pc speaker thing happens( I dont know if it would help or even post anything but who knows)

The fact that it blue screens in both benchmarks and Prime95 leads me to believe it could very well be a PSU issue. Either that or bios settings. It is only when the system is under stressful situations. It doesn't look like a video card issue because Prime95 doesn't stress Graphics cards.

Is your backup too small for your 1kW PSU? That could be the issue right there. Won't know for sure until I got those videos

im disconnected my pc from the APC things seem to be running fine now... ima run the test that was crashing it see what happens also ill send the vid's anyways in a few.
 
stress test still crashed system though... i seem to be running the benchmark just fine though.

I think we just fixed part of the problem then. Try running stress test with everything at stock speeds. Make sure nothing is OC'd.
