Plugging my HDMI into the mb will not do anything even with the old busted 670 out. The monitor just says no signal and shuts down. Ive done a CMOS reset with same result. Current mb drivers are installed also. Due to old VGA being nerfed, I cannot read my BIOs to set the graphics to mb. Im assuming the CMOS reset set it to auto.

Tried that as well. Going to Intel drivers for graphics sends you back to a 2013 driver that will not install. Any other Stinger guys having this issue?

Be careful, if your monitor has multiple inputs, cannot automatically starts on the different inputs. So , use verified cables and set mannually on the respective inputs: 1 for external VGA and another for the 4790 video.

I didn't mention that this motherboard is my second RMA. I hope that I don't have to RMA again, as it takes my PC down for 3 weeks minimum because of the RMA process/shipping. The second RMA motherboard worked until the 670 blew up, now it just wont let me see the BIOS because of the artifacting on the bad VGA. As I stated earlier, I removed the bad VGA and uninstalled the drivers but the HDMI port on the MB will not work to let me switch it to iGPU. I was hoping the CMOS reset would have set it back to "auto" and enabled the use of my onboard graphics until I can get a new VGA. This new build has been a bummer, Ive never had this many issues all at once. lol

Bam. The Motherboard Display Port works. iGPU working as advertised on my 4970K. Still would like to find why the HDMI wasnt working, maybe driver related. Now... the waiting game for a new GPU. Might pick up a cheap GTX 960 4GB to wait out the new nVidia GTX release next year. GTX 670 RIP, you were a beast.

Doesn't matter the (video) drivers if u boot in BIOS or safe mode, but is a BIOS settings. After CMOS reset , if u connect the monitor to a video port (VGA, DVI, HDMI, Displayport) the signal is received by monitor. Sometimes is neccesary to restart the pc for enabling default video signal.
Excluding the cases when cables, video or monitor has issues.

What did you change?  I have a similar problem.  No drives attached, can't boot into the UEFI screen. The code on the board just sticks at A2, the "IDE Detect" status.

I have seen the same but once the OS boots up the HDMI Port worked.
It would Not Work in the Bios, I had to use the DVI Port on the GPU to see the Bios.
If you remove your GPU then it works.
