http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/nvidia-geforce-331-40-beta-drivers-released The new GeForce 331.40 beta driver is now available to download. An essential update for all GeForce GTX users jumping into the Battlefield 4 beta, 331.40 beta ensures maximum performance and system stability in the shooter’s eagerly anticipated pre-release test. 331.40 beta also includes a major update to our NVIDIA Control Panel Ambient Occlusion feature, which allows you to apply fidelity-enhancing, realistic shading and shadowing to games that do not natively support Ambient Occlusion. With a few simple clicks, you can greatly increase the image quality of your favorite games, and now, with 331.40 beta, the quality of the Ambient Occlusion shading will be significantly higher thanks to the introduction of HBAO+.
Debuted in Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist, HBAO+ is a new, NVIDIA-developed Ambient Occlusion technique that utilizes the latest technologies to dramatically increase the precision, fidelity, and rendering speed of high-quality AO. For further details on HBAO+, please visit our HBAO+ technology page, and for more info on Ambient Occlusion itself, please head here.
Rounding out 331.40 beta is a whole host of profile updates, adding new SLI profiles, updating existing SLI profiles, adding new Ambient Occlusion profiles, and updating other profile elements for optimum game experiences:

Looks like I have to wait another driver set for something with Rome, I'll download it anyways for the BF4 beta. Hoping it doesn't ruin Shogun 2/Red Orchestra 2/BF3 like 327.23 did.
I will either find a way, or make one. ٩(๏̯͡๏)۶

It works good in BF3 but I'm having a hard time finding servers. At the only populated server I found I was getting +20 more FPS than with the 320.18 I was using. That's not a fair performance assessment without another server to compare it to though. I had an issue with the installer that I really didn't need. I unchecked all boxes except for Driver and PhysX but it installed .NET Framework extended, GeForce experience, some other sync garbage, and gave me that 'Updatus' profile in my Users folder. I had to uninstall the .NET Framework, GFE and delete a bunch of useless folders too. I ran the installer again to repair any damaged files but it worked normally the second time through.

Installed and played some starcraft2 and suddenly I had a power surge and my system shut down (asus protect thingy). After a reboot my 780sc fans would blast at full speed. It didn't show up in Xprecision though. And even when I would manually try and control the speed it would ignore my input. At auto it also showed the fans at their minimum speed. Strange things!! Then I removed the card and rebooted with the cpu graphics (haswell). The high fan sound was gone confirming it was my 780sc that was tripping. I removed the drivers and everything and rebooted the pc with the graphics card. The high fan speed is gone and the card seems to be just fine. Didn't play yet though with the previous drivers. My PSU is CoolerMaster M2 Silent Pro 1000W and I have never had any issues with it whatsoever so I highly doubt its the PSU. Also the fact it happens the night I install and try these beta drivers make me lean towards the drivers. I will not install these again. If I get the same problem again with the old drivers I will come and update my story. Edit: It stills seems to go at full speed while indicating 39%.. still ignores my manual inputs too .. Thats with the 327 drivers now. It starts going full speed as soon as I enter windows :(

I seemed to gain about 5 fps overall in bf3 with these on a evga gtx 780 SC ACX. Good sign for BF4 performance seeing as it's still essentially "Frostbite". Thanks for the up.

This driver makes BF3 run pretty good. Lower GPU usage and higher FPS... Makes me wonder why NVIDIA was holding back for so long.

lost about 10 points on my valley score with these drivers but meh whatever they work fine otherwise. just glad to see more drivers available for the GTX 770, 326.80, 327.23, and 331.04 so far are solid drivers for this card (at least for single card use, not sure in sli cause I never run that)

Hey, I updated to the lastes WHQL Drivers two days ago, then updated to the BF4-recommended Beta driver 331.40 yesterday. Now my Predicsion X (4.2.1) gives me some funny readouts: Power: 7698472 Volt Memory Usage: 4194304 MB I don't think the card is failing, I think it's Precision not playing along with the Beta driver. Can anyone confirm?

Seeing lots of people with poor performance on 6 series. I'm personally getting about 60% utilization across 3x 680s running off a 3930 @ 4.6 Seen this happen in BF3 a few times over various beta drivers, I'll assume it's a driver issue. - Annoying though :( Edit: I should mention I'm talking about BF4 specifically here. --------- Oh, and anyone with the horsepower, turn off AA and use 200% Supersampling, looks great.

I ran into some performance limits too with my 2500K (was holding back the performance of my 770), I been finding that more and more games now days are taking advantage of HT is why I'm gonna be using my 2600K system for gaming soon.

I got no OSD with Afterburner and no FPS data saved after I quit the game so I don't know what kind of performance I'm getting. My progress isn't getting saved and I get no battle reports in BF4 either. That might be a good thing because I only got 2 Kills and 8 Deaths. LOL It's going to be one of those days, isn't it?

No, I didn't think about logging. By the time I realized it was a 64-bit game it was too late and I didn't want anyone to know how stupid I can be sometimes so I didn't post back. I guess it's no secret anymore, is it? LOL
