Did anyone run into problems with Media Player Classic after installing this beta driver?  It's probably totally unrelated but I figured I would check.

Hey all... I'm trying to get these drivers to work for me but am having no dice so far due to, I think, the quoted bug:

Bugs for 331.40

1379957 - TDR in SLI mode with UEFI enabled upon reboot/driver install (will be fixed in next beta release.  Disable UEFI as temporary workaround)

I'm not using a UEFI bootloader, but am getting consistent and quick TDR's with 670 4GB SLI in Win8 64 with the 331.40 drivers. Usually happens within 30 seconds to 3-4 minutes, screen goes black and eventually recovers with a driver stopped responding error, usually does it again quickly from there. This stinks since I took just the BF4 SLI profile and imported it into 327.23 (which works 100%) and saw improved framerates etc., would love to use the 331.40 drivers themselves. Any thoughts? I don't see anything to even adjust related to UEFI in my motherboard's BIOS (MSI Z68A-GD65 G3 with the newest BIOS (Jan 2013, 25.3 I think is the version offhand)).

Specs:

i7 2600k @ 4.4ghz cpu
GTX 670 4GB 2-way SLI (oc'd but stock does the same thing with 331.40) video cards
16GB DDR3 @ 1866 C9 RAM
MSI Z68A-GD65 G3 motherboard
Corsair TX 950W power supply
SSD/HDD/etc.
X-Fi XtremeGamer PCI sound card
2560x1440 @ 110hz (X-Star DP2710) using the newest (1.2.2) ToastyX patch for DVI limits

Thanks if anyone has any suggestions!

Horrible bf4 performance. Horrible.

Framerates were decent enough, ~ 50-70, but omg the ever present lag that I could not escape no matter what I tried fiddling with rendered the game unplayable. I read guys had luck reverting to 320.xx and so I rolled back to my trusty 320.18's. Completely different game: fps is ~70-110, and more importantly, no lag. About to try the 327's to see if it's just that one set that bites?

Is it possibly the new HBAO+ being enabled that's causing your framerate to tank like that?

I've gone back to the 327.23 drivers because the windows key + p stopped working for me on windows 8.1, It worked so perfect before to swap my surround to extending to 3 screens. :(

ver 331.40 Beta is better for bf4 beta. It was lagging on ver 327.

I installed BETA Driver to check and AID64 see OpenGL 4.4 Supported

With previous WHQL is unchecked...
But I rather use WHQL drivers.

Edit: Maybe this improved little performance of OpenGL Applications...
I tested several times with CINEBENCH R15 OpenGL and all WHQL drivers for GTX780 never passed 108fps, 103-108fps, but last BETA (4.4 Support)
give several time over 120fps. I mean all of us know AMD is better in OpenGL but if NVIDIA improve that in next WHQL driver than people who sometimes use some OpenGL application can see advantage maybe...
