While playing AC3 for about 1.5 hrs last night and monitoring the voltages, most of the entire 1.5 hrs my cards were at 1.175v and max boost clocks. I also just ran the AvP benchmark to see what it did and as soon as the bench began, the voltage kicked up to 1.175v as well. So the issue of voltage not reaching 1.175v can't be something the driver and/or PrecX is forcing or it would be universal I would think. Seems to me to be on a system by system basis. Or 1 of the 2 Kepler features of reducing clocks/voltage at 70C or when the max TDP is reached.

OK i can confirm, even though precision shows 1.150v but playing BF3 and games my volts goes up to 1.175v which means Jacob was right, if it is not going up for some of us then it is clearly software or driver related, keep in mind i am running the 313.96 2x680's sli

Use K-Boost & Nvidia Inspector .bat files to get 1175mv. Following my guide HERE should get you 1175mv without a problem.

No K-boost here. Just 2 stock 670 FTW's in SLI with the latest EVGA bios flash. Also, no "outside" software forcing the voltage up to 1.175v like NVinspector or similar.

Anyone actually run this under Crysis, before and after? Does the stated improvement match up with reality?

I did and there was a performance boost but as far as I could tell it was only because it was using the VRAM on my second card (no GPU usage though). Actually I had forgotten to enable sli when I installed the driver and if there was a boost it was very slight.

Yes sir this is a GREAT driver!! Improvements in 3Dmark11 and Heaven engine, as well as a good portion of my game arsenal saw increases in fps and smoothness. 313.96 is a great driver DMC V increase fps by approx 30%.

compared to what driver in what game or app? Got to be a little more detailed about what your asking please.Every driver is generally better then the last in some aspect or way .No way to respond not knowing what performance in what game/app with what driver your currently on.

yes. and I noticed now that is also crashing on launching crysis 3 beta.. EDIT: yes, disabling OSD made crysis launch. but i wanted to at least use the FPS in-game! EDIT2: enabled while in-game and it worked.

you can also check " Enable compatibility with modified Direct 3D runtime libraries" using the OSD options and see if that works i had the same issues with this beta driver as well , i will just wait for the official ones to come out and see if that solves it for good.

BF3 and crysis are OK!
3DMark11: i've lost something in GPUs score(20 over 21100)
but i've got an huge boot on the physics part! (about 400 over 8500)!!
so i broke 15K finally :D

A little upset today :(
I had the "display driver stopped responding and recovered" error last night playing WoW using 313.95. This caused me to restart the PC as the system locked up with the WoW still going in the background.
I did not uninstall MSI Afterburner before installing these BETAs so I am hoping that is the cause of this crash. I rolled back to 310.70 and all seems well so far.
Any one know if this is a symptom of not uninstalling MSI AF first?

its a symptom of not closing MSI before installing the driver.

You must open Afterburner on the desktop Use the "X" in the top right hand corner to -close- the program Now got to START-All Programs Look for the yellow MSI Afterburner folder and open it At the bottom is a "Uninstaller" launch it When the box comes up asking if you want to save data and profiles... -->you MUST answer NO and NOT save that information after the uninstall is complete REBOOT THE COMPUTER ONCE back to the desktop Do NOT put back in that 3 year old out of date version *use of seriously outdated versions of Afterburner should never be done with newer driversets. It not only asking for trouble, but could possibly be dangerous Go here http://www.guru3d.com/fil...rner_download_msi.html and get the latest version---> 2.3.1 When ever you change drivers, do the above Afterburner uninstall and reboot -first- Then install whatever driver of your choice reboot once after the driver is installed Then reinstall Afterburner  To it correctly the same way every time, and you will NEVER have any problems

.95 had an installation bug with languages other than English. .96 has that bug fixed.

I'm getting a lot of frequency fluctuation on my core clock. It is set to +70 which gets it to 1280. It folds perfectly fine at 1280, and is always at 1280. In games, it fluctuates from 1083 to 1280, but mostly it is around 1215. Strange.
