I purchased an EVGA Titan X non SC a couple of months ago and installed the EVGA Hybrid cooler onto it. Using Afterburner i have it running +142 on the core +50 on the memory.

I just ordered another Titan X only this time I just got the the EVGA Titan X Hybrid. Now I understand the factory bios is different on the two cards.

My question is do i need to flash the bios on one of the cards so they are the same before setting them up in SLI? Like possibly flashing the original EVGA Titan X to the Hybrid Bios?

No. BIOS are not always compatible between models. Especially if there has been memory manufactures or other minor changes. There's no reason to do this.

Thank you for the reply. That's good to know, one less thing I have to worry about.

Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to fit all of these radiators!

I have one other question. The mother board is an Asus ROG Maximus VIII Hero. It looks like the the top two PCI slots are slightly spaced apart. Can anyone recommend which size of EVGA SLI bridge I am going to need?

Manual: page 1-19 lists the "population rules for SLI" - which slots to use.

You need to measure the distance Edge to Edge OR Center to Center

The distance in mm will dictate which Bridge you need to buy - if not using the ones that came with MB.

SLI bridges are Sold by Distance between Cards and NOT number of cards

Place your fastest card in the first PCIe slot - closest to CPU
