Hello,
So I have an EVGA x58 Classified 3 way SLI, at first it had 3x2Gb RAM sticks and I wanted to upgrade it so I bought 6x4Gb
Skhynix - HMT351U6EFR8C
VDD=1.5V +/- 0.075V
VDDQ=1.5V +/- 0.075V
VDDSPD=3.0V to 3.6V
8 internal banks
Data transfer rates: PC3-14900, PC3-12800, PC3-10600
Bi-directional Differential Data Strobe
8 bit pre-fetch

My problem is that once I put them all in place I get stuck at the b8 b9 F3 loop and nothing happens not even BIOS.
But when I put only 3 sticks in the red slots,  I do get the b8 b9 F3 but afterwards C1 C3 and everything works just fine.
I m new at this, plz tell me what I m doing wrong.
Thanks

    Welcome to the forums..I've had compatibilty issues with RAM before where it absolutely positively would not work with the Auto/SPD settings but worked fine after setting them up manually in BIOS..Perhaps you should clear CMOS and see if you can get into BIOS with only one or two sticks installed (in DIMM slot 1 or DIMM slots 1 & 3 per your mobo manual) and then manually set the frequency, timing and voltage to manufacturers specs if you have not done so yet..I would try 1600MHz, 11-11-11-35-2T (tCL, tRCD, tRP, tRAS, Command Rate) or even 3T Command Rate if it's an option, and 1.5V - 1.575V DIMM Voltage in Memory Feature and Voltage Control in the Frequency/Voltage Control section of the BIOS.

    Hello,

    Thank you, and thanks for the answer.
    So I did play around in the BIOS as seen in the picture.
    With that I managed to get 4 sticks working no b8 b9 f3 loop, which is pretty good but I can t get the whole 6 sticks to work.
    Other than that, the sticks are working and detected on the memtest but only 8Gb from the 16Gb is detected.
    I really don't know what to do especially that the other parameter are alien to me.

    Can't help you more with that board, not very familiar with it..You can poke through the X58 Sticky Index, Memory Frequency Guide, 3.99 Usable RAM Troubleshooting and more..Maybe set the Channel Interleave Setting to 6 way, don't know..Maybe test 3 sticks at a time in the red slots 1/3/5 with Memtest, maybe narrow it down a bad stick, see Troubleshooting Memory Errors..Set tRAS to 35..Maybe somebody else more familiar with that board will chime in..Good luck

    Have you tried going up on your CPU VTT setting? It may require more, like +150 or even more.
