I have been very intrigued about the 7th gen CPUs coming in early 2017. Will they all plug and play with the current Z170 boards? (Of course after a wipe/Windows reinstall)

CPU: Intel 6700k - 4.6GHZ (1.350v override)
GPU: GeForce GTX 1080 FE
MOBO: Evga Z170 Classified K
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR4 16 - 3466MHZ
PSU: Evga 850W SuperNOVA
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500 x2
KB: Logitech G410
Headset: Logitech G633
MONITOR: Acer Predator 1440p 144 Gsync
CASE: Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 5

    If the board manufacturer puts out an updated BIOS to enable support is the only way they will be able to 'drop in' the new chips and work.

    And if that's the case, you will not need to reinstall Windows.

    Some manufacturers already have a new BIOs ready.
