But I must point out again, the true American mid life crisis supercar, the Corvette, which comes with both a performance package and a decent price tag...is an abomination.

I really only like the old sting ray Corvettes or the old school split window. All others are ugly IMHO.

The latest one is truly horrendous. So much unnecessary trim. But the ones before that weren't anything to behold, either. The true Corvettes date back to second and third generation. Anything that followed suffered aesthetically. And for such a price tag I want more than just a 638 HP engine in a ZR-1 that can still barely out-torque a 530 HP Porsche 911 GT2 to a finish line.
