Scarlet-Tech My electric bill is going to hate me. I just added a 780ti in. Now we have Kepler (780ti) and Pascal(1070) in one build and Maxwell in the main (2x980tis)
Nice, let us know if the Kepler and Pascal play nice together. I've had a 1080 and 970 in 1 build folding for 3 weeks now and they've been getting along famously

It's Fermi they didn't put a newer driver out for. Kepler and Maxwell should be fine. There was stupidity around wwdm versions that the cards supported. They had decided only to update the two most recent generations and that was Kepler and maxwell at the time.

Thanks to incredibly generous donations by Opolis, Barbouri and Torell and also a nice discount from EVGA we can upgrade one EVGA GTX 1070 SC ACX 3.0 to an EVGA GTX 1080 SC ACX 3.0. Troy has been in contact with EVGA and they are willing to handle the distribution for us, so a Huge Thanks to EVGA !!!! Edit: added Torell to the donors, because he just made a second donation (thank you)!!

I think the first pick gets the 1080. Too bad my 1080 is super-sized. But I'll be happy with a mug or game.

Yes, the first winner of a 1070 will have the choice for the upgrade to the 1080. If he does not want to upgrade, the choice to upgrade will go to the next one.

Feel you there. Folding starting getting a bunch of error the other day for me so had to shut down to trouble shoot...still working it out...but this would be the longest i've kept my rig folding almost 24/7. Curious to see what my bill will be this month. Next month i'll be bringing another rig or two back online since i'll have time once the school semester ends.

Yessir! I miss my team haha :) To think I finally own my dream car too, picked her up in Dec 2014.

I'll have to say the WRX are nice cars, it was a blue WRX than motivated me to drop a crate engine and put a blower on my 93 SVT Cobra. You can figure out why, LOL But a dream car? I suppose so, ok. Here is my dream car. The curves, the color, the fenders, the chrome, in my mind a 427 Windsor with a big ole chrome blower. The rumble of the V8, the whine of the blower, smell of race gas, oil and tire smoke fills the air. Tire smoke pouring out the back.

Pick order for the prize selection will be determined via a random drawing: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DeBDrNLoxkRNTJOK1j-yROVyc-fzSbdusRe386NaSpA/ Pretty simple process, everyone draws a random number between 1 and 5 Billion, which is then sorted from smallest to largest with the smallest picking first. Thank you once again to everyone who donated a prize or donated to the GPU prize pool! Also thank you to EVGA who is going to help us with getting the GPUs into the hands of the winners as giving us a discount on the price that allowed us to upgrade a 1070 into a 1080! Good luck to all!

I couldn't agree more! The TZC was all about getting more points, not fewer...why not the prize selection, too?

It's done automagically in software. The only delay is a human review for errors before the list is posted.
