I'm a little perplexed...just boxed up my newest 980ti and shipped it to Caly for stepup to a 1080...that card ran flawlessly all through the TZC

i'm curious how those power links will loook.  Let us know how it looks once you install them in your system.  Was contemplating just getting a set for my 980ti just because water loop runs right aginst them right now.

My setup is much different as my case is a desk. I actually have cable extensions that are being pulled tight due to the 1070 sitting much higher than the previous generations lol. So this powerlink will get rid of the tight stretch I have going on. Will post before n after soon!

nice nice. Mine's a '11 wrx. Love it.  Sort of wished I'd gotten but the STI only for the 6th gear....otherwise having a blast.  Its been stage 1 since i got it. Didn't want to make any mods till I have the money for it.  Might just keep it stage 1 for the foreseeable future.

Nice car! Where is that? Seattle? I like those buildings directly above the drivers door. Create a nifty little cascade effect. The only thing that sucks about having your dream car (in certain states) is being forced to deface the front end with a license plate. Sorry man.

Yup I'm up here in Seattle, I'm ok with the plate using the relocation kit at for the tow hook. As long the dealer didn't drill new holes into the bumper I was fine. Used a JDM kit/holes for the delete plate in the middle.

nice nice. Mine's a '11 wrx. Love it.  Sort of wished I'd gotten but the STI only for the 6th gear....otherwise having a blast.  Its been stage 1 since i got it. Didn't want to make any mods till I have the money for it.  Might just keep it stage 1 for the foreseeable future.

Yea, 6th is great :) mine is probably going to stay stage 1 for a long time as well. Keep it reliable but fun!

I was hoping the same thing . He could just drop it off at my Sisters house in Tacoma and I can run over with the car trailer on a week end and pick it up . Or just leave it there tell I retire next year

Oh man I miss my STi. I used to AutoCross mine almost every weekend. Had to get rid of it when I bought my house. Always had plans on getting another one but then got married, had kids, etc.

It's pretty close, I thought I heard we ended up with 170 entrants. 50 people will be missing a chance. They will more than likely be slapping their forehead ,while at the same time exhaling a Doh! sound. I hope not though.

Nice, let us know if the Kepler and Pascal play nice together. I've had a 1080 and 970 in 1 build folding for 3 weeks now and they've been getting along famously

It's Fermi they didn't put a newer driver out for. Kepler and Maxwell should be fine. There was stupidity around wwdm versions that the cards supported. They had decided only to update the two most recent generations and that was Kepler and maxwell at the time.

Thanks to incredibly generous donations by Opolis, Barbouri and Torell and also a nice discount from EVGA we can upgrade one EVGA GTX 1070 SC ACX 3.0 to an EVGA GTX 1080 SC ACX 3.0.  Troy has been in contact with EVGA and they are willing to handle the distribution for us, so a Huge Thanks to EVGA !!!!

Yes, the first winner of a 1070 will have the choice for the upgrade to the 1080.
If he does not want to upgrade, the choice to upgrade will go to the next one.

Feel you there. Folding starting getting a bunch of error the other day for me so had to shut down to trouble shoot...still working it out...but this would be the longest i've kept my rig folding almost 24/7.  Curious to see what my bill will be this month.  Next month i'll be bringing another rig or two back online since i'll have time once the school semester ends.
