I finally get my computer back online after a power outage fried my SSD last week, and I see the challenge is done. Oh well. Guess I can still help with the 6 Billion goal.

My electric bill has gone down for the third month in a row - from $94 in September (before I upgraded), to $73 in October (after I upgraded) to $66 for this month

I live in a 700sq ft apartment BTW - am on a 'budget plan' that keeps things somewhat consistent month-to-month, with December's bill occasionally being larger to account for any variance, so I might not see the hit for a bit.  Either way though, I consider that my contribution towards finding a cure(s).

PC Build (early 2009 - gaming only)
Antec Twelve Hundred - Win10 x64
eVGA X58 SLI - Core i7 920 (bumped to 2.80GHz) - 6GB DDR3-1066
WD Black 640GB/7200RPM - Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD

Asus GTX 1060 OC (3GB) - HT Omega Striker 7.1 - Asus VH222H 21.5"

I think we all fold for something much greater than points and that power bill is just one part of our donation

Is it the EVGA Bucks?

This error looks like a NVidia driver issue, I don't know if you have one of the 375.xx drivers installed which are not good for folding, see:
- NVIDIA GeForce Game Ready Driver 375.63 WHQL Do Not Use For Folding @ Home
- Core 21 (OpenMM GPU) issues with new Windows NVIDIA drivers

It's best to install NVidia driver 373.06 (or older) and when you're already using an older driver, maybe re-install this driver.

Thanks, I'll take the rest.   But the machines churn on - 24x7x365 hopefully.

Quick question: Will the TZC 2016 page's group stat's page continue to be updated so we can track how close we get to the 5 billion points mark for November?

Actually, I am pulling those stats from EOC not drougnor.  They only update when EOC updates and are limited based on what is available from EOC.

Also of note: here we sit at 3 billion on November 14th!   Unfortunately, it seems are production fell off much harder than I was expecting when the contest ended this past weekend.  We need to maintain slightly above our current production to make 6 billion by the end of the month, however, when the bucks folders begin dropping off 6 billion may be out of reach this go round...

My High over the last 12 months was $694.00 and my low was $312.00

Unfortunately I had to stop folding 16 hours a day. I have to wait to see what November's electric bill is going to be... my wife isn't an idiot, and knows my folding costs money. I don't want to give her a heart attack while she's pregnant.

i'll be interested to see what my power bill is going to be.  Been cool enough for me to leave my computer on 24/7 and still fold/crunch when i'm not doing anything. I think my high this summer was 150 in july but I have a small house and most of that was from the AC not my computer.  I rarely leave my computer on when i'm not actually using it so I dont expect my power bill to be near any of the serious folders here.  My plex server crunches when its not encoding movies so that is the only comptuer that has stayed on 24/7 till now.

I've never seen my power bill eclipse $150 or so. Of course I only have 2 cards to power. I did get a sub $100 bill after pausing golding for a few weeks in prep for challenge.

As you 6 billion goal. I'm afraid the primegrid event coming up will be sapping the folding numbers.

What a BR for this!

IS that a question or statement. Dutchforce should get a BR for just showing up :)

No about the driver issue, I did not except an answer only a note to my brain.
But yes one way for DutchForce to get a BR for taking such good care of us during the TZC.

Yes, The stats are still updating for the 5 Billion, Jeremy.AKA. (drougnor) Awesome job as always.

Actually, I am pulling those stats from EOC not drougnor.  They only update when EOC updates and are limited based on what is available from EOC.

Sorry Troy, Did not mean to leave out your hard work Mate..

Hmmm  Did I miss Something? I thought we were aiming for 6 billion? Or am I getting confused with the TZC target?

I think at this point we're just seeing how high a point total we can accumulate for the month.  Whatever it is, it will be a new record for our team!

Well, at the rate that GPUs are increasing in raw power and efficiency, I'm sure we'll soon be having Billion Point plus targets for folding contests.  Man, we've come a long way since my first Chimp Challenge in 2010, when it was a flat sprint to a whopping 20 Million.

Amen to that - I just remember running 2 GTX 8800 or 9800 + cards folding 24/7 and my computer room was unbearable due to the heat - AND getting so few ppd relative to today's ppd. It is amazing! My power bill has never been an issue with my wife. I have never measured it, but if she is good with it - it can't be much
BTW - All of my cards are still running, some are not folding.
