notfordman I'm sorry to tell you robby, but your contest points will be nullified according to article 3, section 69. It's only for a week though, plus you have company with Shaneter44 ,and scarlet. Please don't shoot the messenger. It's troy's fault, rules are rules... Just to let you know as you are looking feverishly , through the contest rules.. JK
Found it: https://sites.google.com/...imezonechallenge/drules
wow - this is a new revised version of the rules I have not yet read - but ignorance of the law is no excuse. Nice catch notfordman

I just returned to the forums yesterday, and saw I had a new message. It turned out to be this, and so I entered. I'd really like to know if I have been accepted into the challenge.
If you use a computer at night, check out f.lux Research: https://justgetflux.com/research.htmlDownload: https://www.justgetflux.com/This reduces how blue (6500k) the screen is and looks a LOT better once you get used to it - the getting used to may take up to a week! Your screen will be "more orange" at night but it's for the best. In about 15 minutes your eyes won't even notice and I think it will look much better.

I hate to be the bummer, but the list has been ignored after BadBertie. I don't have the time like I did in the past to make sure all new late signups line up properly in the current pieced together system we're running. My apologies, ladies and gents, but if your name is showing up with a November date next to it, you didn't make the time limit cut. d

Well after all day and restart after restart I pulling my AMD R9 290X off of Folding because they seem to not be able to run Core 21 Projects. Same issue I had this last April. It is really only about 600,000 PPD at the most. Unlike the old days when they folded better than the 7xx cards on the Old Cores they are no loner usable under Core 21.

I am using HFM right now. It gives those usefull unit stats per slot. Showed my 1080FTW at 3x 970 production over these past 3 days. Wish the text could be made bigger though. It is hard to read sometimes.
Central team needs some help. They are missing some Playas and have one poor soul with hardware issues. Some heavy hitter oughta switch teams. Lol.

Sorry for some reason it kept resizing it. It actually says 192k and 107k for work units and yup 1.4M for total. I think i fixed it.

Just under 500K points for first two days in November, just by using my old rig with two EVGA 750ti's, both refurbished. I may fire up another rig with an AMD R7 360, with the potential for another 75K points per day. Have not used my HVAC for three weeks now in Colorado. With high temperatures in the 60's predicted for the next two weeks, the rigs will do the heating as well as the folding! Best of both worlds!

It's amazing how much heat is pumping out of our rigs, Someone should figure out a way to convert the heat output to BTU's haha.

When it gets real cold here in NY I will have 17 computers and somewhere around 300 threads/cores crunching BOINC heating my house. Throw in a couple video cards and It stays nice and warm in here. I hardly used any fuel oil last Winter If I remember right it is 3 BTUs per watt of electric used.
