That makes it easier for other Folders to find and sign Up   Thanks

Question for clarity:  RE:Time Period ???

"The contest will start at midnight (Eastern Time US) on November 1st and end when each team has reached 350 million points."  ????

The Folding challenge continues, till your Registered Time Zone completes the goal or until the Slowest TZ completes their goal ?

A) Ends when your registered TZ reaches the goal

B) Ends when all TZ reach the goal

I think you intend to convey"answer A", just thought I'd ask in case you meant "answer B".

Troy or someone else can correct me if I am wrong, but answer B is correct.
That is how it went down last year.

Edit: at this point EST Vs everyone else wouldnt be fair, just saying

Yes B is Correct
All Teams Goal is 350 Million and all folders fold until all the teams reach 350 Million

Lets stop getting worked up about how the contest, points estimates, etc look right now.  With 4 weeks of registration to go, we can't say much now and by the time the contest starts the number of contestants should have increased at least 500% above the current number of participants.

Keep in mind the goal is to get together to fold some proteins and have fun. The general goal is approximately 10 days of our team folding as hard as we can and for those that want to continue on we try to set a new record for our team's largest monthly production (last year we crossed the 3 billion threshold for the first time).  Please trust that things will work out and be adjusted to maintain a fun and balanced contest as best we possibly can (within the confines of the contest parameters).

Perhaps me?!  .  Just wanted to make sure we're keeping it positive and constructive.

PS: I've set a goal to break drougnor's stat system this year (which runs into problems at more than 250 or so participants)

Me, I lost my main Folding Rig due to a leak in the GPU Loop.
So I will have some work cut out for me in the next 2 weeks.

No damage, the leak is seepage around the one of SLI Connectors on the HC Blocks on each rig.
One is as old as when the GTX Titan was released and the other when the GTX 980 HC came out.
HC Water Blocks are hard to setup sometimes.
They are both running PrimeGrid ATM.

Couple of things - Troy, can you lower my points estimate from 1.5 MPPD to 1.2? I guess my eyes were bigger than my video cards stomachs

Second, Bring on the signups! I think I've got a solution for dealing with over 250 people, but I really need to HAVE over 250 people signed up and ready to rock to ensure I'm not blowing smoke up my own butt here.

Get the word out, folks! We're gonna light this sucker UP!

The first two years for the TZC was 6-7 years ago.  Currently the Central vs Eastern is tied with 3 wins each.  MOP was up and coming last year with a close 2nd place finish.

There are a few heavy hitters from central that have not yet signed up, but as Chris pointed out Eastern has a couple new big guns of their own this year!

my first time on folding on the east coast, I can easily push 1.4m+ without the gaming evolve which I'll be doing less of  for the event and the cause to push for more folding.

Well I have my new parts installed. As soon as I get a good idea of what I am looking at points wise I will be registering. I think I will be in the neighborhood of 1.2Mil per day or a little more to add to the EST.
