Greetings everyone. Do you all have more challenges like this often? I only happened to sign up for this one because I got a PM that showed up in my email. If you want my folding power in the future please PM me again because I don't generally browse this forum.

I did the same. I have to admit, I find myself checking daily to see how we are doing. I look at it as fun for a good cause and look forward to doing more.

I recall that someone said that about the Mountain Team and they did wake us
Us on the Mountain Team never bring all we can . Its still a little warm you know anything above zero is warm to us . And this year its way warmer then most . By now it should be in the low 30 's for daytime highs and mid teens at night . Not in high 50's to low 60's and only mid 40's at night .

600,000,000,000 would be the goal to set. January, and Febuary are the coldest Winter months, well for many of us anyway. I hate buying fuel oil!

Gamifying the program with the points was one of the best things the Pande Group ever did. Though, they dropped the ball with the relative lack of outreach. I'm hopeful that, especially after my conversation with Anton, their lead communicator, that they're actually understanding and working to fix that deficit. d

Ok, folks, we're sitting at a personal team best PPD production of 234,456,828 but we still need to kick CureCoin out of THAT spot, too, because the're sitting at 246,624,039 for a best day's production.
So, if anyone has ANY Last hardware they can squeeze ANYTHING out of, fire it up! I want to own EVERY record that CC set last month! d

The house we used to live in two years ago had oil heat. We spent almost $5000 on heating oil per year there. We moved to a nice big house that has gas heat, and man, the savings are incredible. Our bill for gas is like $70 during the winter. I know, right?!

You might be thinking Barnacules, but I can't go back and verify because I only track top 50 teams in my setup and EOC doesn't let you browse backwards. And if that is the case, I think setting a daily goal of 260Mppd is more than enough wiggle room to claim a record, at least for a little while. d

For cooling power, instead of using an A/C, if it gets cool enough (with hopefully lower 60-70% humidity, sometimes not possible yet) then open two windows in your house (if your windows even open, most are now painted shut, because who the hell uses windows anymore?), and open one about 4 inches high, open one that is near your computer, and open another one across from it or on the opposite side of the house. Open that one much higher, and put a very large powerful fan in that one. This will be exhaust and it will completely force air to enter from the smaller open window. It won't work miracles, but when it gets down to 70-65 or less, that's a good time to start this, and it works much faster than an A/C unit. A good fan choice would be a 20"+ metal fan, do NOT use a cheap plastic fan as metal is way easier to clean, and we all know what heatsinks are made of! Also, those "box fans" (also still use a metal fan here) would work a lot better in a window, and you'll want to close off the sides so most of the air comes through the fan. I hope you all find this helpful, and use it where and when possible. Let me know your results!
If you use a computer at night, check out f.lux Research: https://justgetflux.com/research.htmlDownload: https://www.justgetflux.com/This reduces how blue (6500k) the screen is and looks a LOT better once you get used to it - the getting used to may take up to a week! Your screen will be "more orange" at night but it's for the best. In about 15 minutes your eyes won't even notice and I think it will look much better.
