CPO Team, we need to get a move on, Everyone send PM's to those not started yet... Bombard them so they can start and bring us up to the finishing line.. I and many others here, have the PrimeGrid AP27 Challenge and I need all my GPU's for this one, so we can be right up there on the Leader Board. Maybe we can get you also joining our Crunching Team also????

The Crunching Team is welcome on any Team, and Yes, I know they are here... It is hard to split our time between Crunching and Folding with all the challenges around.

fatality38 After the challenge, my 1070 will have definitly deserved the Thermal pads from EVGA, learnt about the ACX 3.0 thermals yesterday. Not too worried as for mine since i have 2 intake, both, pushing air from Low to high, ordering a Tube of MX4 soon. Yeah , didnt thought about how much of an inpact Unplugging my monitor from the GPU would have affected my PPD that much. definitly should have did a quick day test before.
Did that make it go up, if so how much?
If you use a computer at night, check out f.lux Research: https://justgetflux.com/research.htmlDownload: https://www.justgetflux.com/This reduces how blue (6500k) the screen is and looks a LOT better once you get used to it - the getting used to may take up to a week! Your screen will be "more orange" at night but it's for the best. In about 15 minutes your eyes won't even notice and I think it will look much better.

its the fact that My GPU doesnt have to manage the pixel rendering of the 1080p monitor in windows idle Connected my PDD was varying from, 370-420k, now the stat board says im doing 577k There is also the fact that the estimates ran on nights only, at most 12h, hence why i should have done a test night before the challenge In the meanwhile i downgraded to iGPU and my 720p monitor so that i could still get a acceptable game framerate.

Do you mean to say you're gaming while you fold? Also do you fold on CPU too?

I do, but not on my GTX 1070. The GTX 1070 is not Connected to Any screen and is folding alone I use as Graphics the Intel HD Graphics 4600 of my i5-4690K ( Overclocked to 4.5GHz at 1.228V ) No i dont fold my CPU for one reason, It would slow Gaming and Windows for a modest 15-20k points, Not worth it in the current Situation unless nights. hope that answered your question

Too many people misreported their PPD, that's for sure! I'm +14% and 99.98% uptime because my team was falling behind! Too bad my GTX 1060 can't do much more..

I put in a conservative estimate based on past extremeoc stats. The newer 64bit folding client seems to get boost clocks better so my ppd went up. I'm still not convinced the tzc stats are quite correct as far as ppd, they seem iffy from my 750-950k ppd results from extremeoc.

Well I was way off on my estimated ppd, guilty as charged, but I have never run all six cards folding and I guessed way too low.

I'm sorry to tell you robby, but your contest points will be nullified according to article 3, section 69. It's only for a week though, plus you have company with Shaneter44 ,and scarlet. Please don't shoot the messenger. It's troy's fault, rules are rules... Just to let you know as you are looking feverishly , through the contest rules.. JK

I am probably the most disappointed that the contest isn't as competitive as I had hoped it would be. A bad combination of a few underestimates by EM and some underproducers and no shows by CPO...sounds like we might have to call on drougnor to whip out his PIMP CANE! That shouldn't stop anyone from folding as hard as they can though - at the end of the day we're trying to produce some science, maximize our production as a team, and break that 5 billion mark for the month!
