bcavnaugh I guess I am really Only Folding 14 Hours a Day and Erroring on the other 10 Hours.
Sad but true... it's really throwing a monkey wrench into our challenge statistics, and ruining our chances at 3 billion if things don't get straightened out soon.

- Just a quick reminder to everyone that there is only two days left to donate prizes before the prize pool is locked and the selection process begins. Once again a big thanks to all of our incredible team members who have been incredibly generous in donating prizes this year!

Speaking of which, does anyone thing a Samsung Chromebook XE303C12 from 2012 is a worthwhile prize? It's still an awesome email and web surfing machine, runs Chrome OS and can do lots of stuff with Google apps. P.S. A big thank you for your service to guns and any other veterans

The site has been updated to reflect the 200 million points. Sorry for any confusion, I'm extremely busy these days and sometimes a few of the details slip through the cracks.

+1! Big thanks to AcesofDeath7 for adding a whole pile of Steam games! At last count, there are roughly 70 prizes, and less than 80 contestants, so pretty much everyone that wants a prize will probably get one. That is simply awesome and shows the generosity of EVGA and our teammates!

So far Bruce, over at Folding forums has been replying. I am trying to relay the best information possible. It is coming down to him saying that any overclock may be the issue. I venture to guess that is going to be the only response I get honestly.
He did say this: There are reports of this sort of error with 171.64.65.56.
Problem is, he has access to information we are not able to access, so I am not sure.
Thank you un4givn85, I will share this with him, and see what he says.
I had this error trying to get another WU. I guess it just switched me to a different server: 01:44:41:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 171.67.108.204:80 01:44:42:WU02:FS00:Assigned to work server 171.67.108.31 01:44:42:WU02:FS00:Requesting new work unit for slot 00: READY gpu:1:GM204 [GeForce GTX 980] from 171.67.108.31 01:44:42:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 171.67.108.31:8080 01:45:03:ERROR:WU02:FS00:Exception: 10002: Received short response, expected 512 bytes, got 0 01:45:04:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 171.67.108.45:80 01:45:04:WU02:FS00:Assigned to work server 171.64.65.61 01:45:04:WU02:FS00:Requesting new work unit for slot 00: READY gpu:1:GM204 [GeForce GTX 980] from 171.64.65.61 01:45:04:WU02:FS00:Connecting to 171.64.65.61:8080 01:45:05:WU02:FS00:Downloading 3.61MiB 01:45:07:WU02:FS00:Download complete

It's good it quickly switched servers. I will let him know so he can see that it did properly switch over and it did it really fast.
It looks like, if my ppd keeps going well, I may actually do fairly decent compared to the last few days. Will know in 20 minutes.

Speaking of prizes, would an older GTX 460 have any value as a prize?

I'm sure it would be useful to someone. I figure, add it to the prize pool; if someone wants it, it will get picked; if not, no harm done.

Figured I would clean out my Steam Inventory of games that were just sitting there. With all of the generous Thanks being giving to us Veterans, I thought that all my fellow Folding TZC competitors deserved a chance to win something this time. Hope that there is a game or two that someone will like to win.

I swear on all that is sacred, Folding is starting to break. I've experienced two major system slowdowns within 24 hours and they went away as soon as I quit the F@H program. EDIT: if I leave the second 980 running on its core 21 project I have no real issues at all, but the top 980 that's running a core 18 9136 has an ETA of 130 days... could the GPU be failing?

Is it 130 days after showing at least 5% completed? Myself I had 12 BAD_WORK_UNIT overnight that was 50% on one rig alone.

I have fewer problems folding on a single board. I even get better ppd averages. It must be you two that are overloading and breaking things especially since it stopped when Drazhar quit folding.

I have not had the WU problems you guys are posting - running 3 gpus since one of my 780s needs an RMA.
