I hope the current Nor'Eastah is treating you all as well as can be expected. So far we've been lucky with low outages here in Maine, but don't be surprised if the stats go away for a few hours. I'll consider myself VERY lucky if everything stays up here, power and net wise. On that note, I just got in from shoveling our driveway for the last two hours, so it's time to kick back and let the anti-inflammatories do their magic and enjoy a good stiff drink to boot.

@ Viper Its always been a seeding round, followed by 2 head to head rounds - kinda like a March folding tournament. A change of pace from the "regular" contest routine and has generally been found enjoyable by most that participate (though we'll never be able to please everyone).

I understand Troy... I'm not sure how I missed it other than 'assuming' the rules were the entire contest structure. As I said, my bad for missing it and being ignorant. It makes sense in how it's structured NOW that I've read the format section of the contest page and relate it to basketball. March Madness for me was always more rabbit than basketball. I'm slow but did eventually figure it out... three weeks later!

Hah, I'm not the only one that has had to feel my way through the contest and am still learning things about it as we go! I'm liking it a lot (as designed) because it has a twist to it with the different segments of the race/pairing as time progresses. That maintains interest and gives us all (regardless of how you place) someone to race to the end.

Im gonna post a suggestion here that the team runs a donation pool for drougnor and troy to revamp hardware /software so they can keep running contests of this sort for the forseeable future I don't know about you ...but Id like them to continue to feel welcome and appreciated here if that means we help them maintain their rigs and hardware/software or what they need to continue to do fantastic work for this team... so be it I would like everyone to chime in and post their feelings on this and tell contest guru's how much they are appreciated

I would add that if there are production/equipment needs from either Troy or Drougnor to run these contests, don't be shy in telling us about it. These are great guys who deserve a lot of Thanks for unselfishly giving of both their time and equipment to allow our team to have some fun!

We have done this before as far as putting a combo together either as a prize or to help out. There is no reason why it can't be done again. This is one great unselfish team, I'm always glad to help a fellow folder out, as many of you are as well. Thank you to all that help put our events together and keep them running smoothly.

3/22/13 - There are just over 24 hours left in the first head to head round before the finals begin tomorrow at midnight (Eastern US).
- There are also just over 24 hours left to donate to the gift pool that will be randomly given away to lucky contest participants to celebrate all that we have (and will) accomplish this month! Once again the EVGA Folding Community has shown incredible generosity!!
- Punchy will be posting information on how to select your gift preferences this weekend.
- Unfortunately, once this process begins, we will not be able to accept any additional donations so be sure to get any last minute contributions in as soon as possible.
- All selections must be made before the contests ends on March 31st, so make sure you keep an eye out for additional information to follow this weekend.

Added a gift. Also, I thought it might be cool to have a team daily stats page. This would provide people with a visual of their team performance across the contest period vs other teams. It would answer the question "Are we catching up or falling back". Thanks to all those involved!

I believe he is referring to daily stats graph, that shows how each team did each day tracking their progress over time whereas the summary page just tracks the cumulative result. It is a good idea, but unfortunately is something that takes a good bit of time to set up. I'll put it on the list of things I'd like to get done for you guys this contest (there are a few more as well), but I don't know if I'll have the time.

Well its now the 24th, counting today 8 more days to hit that 1 Billion points mark. At 118,659,649 left to complete this I would say we are well on track for making that goal. Great job everyone! Keep up the hard work.

These 762x keep coming one after another! How do I get rid of them? It takes 14h+ to finish one WU and I think it's hurting the overall production.

You can try adding the client-type=advanced if your running v7. This will sometimes help get different work units. Edit if you add the beta flag that would get the 7662 core 17 WU, but if your running a Nvidia card and folding on the CPU it will kill your PPD output on the CPU folding.
