Great stuff guys, Troy you need to add some zeros to the 1,000,000 so it reads 1,000,000,000 for the month.

Anyone got some decent size great working sata II or III HDDS. No money here so it would need to be cheap. My 24/7 is taking a hit and I think the HDD on it just took a dump.

Was gonna register for the [H] forum to poke them a little bit... but I can't; they don't allow Gmail or Yahoo email addresses to register. That's all I have! What else even is there? ;p EDIT: Apparently their "no Yahoo..." clause failed. It let me register with mine. Have you guys read their registration rules? They're so restrictive! (22) No active links, graphics, cussing or advertising allowed in the SIGNATURE. Sig line is limited to 10 lines total as viewed @ 800 x 600 resolution or no more that 15 words per line. I could never do that. It's so strange -.- Who's the [H]ardest [F]orum around? Please supply the correct answer for this question, the answer is hardforum. What are they, super insecure? Must they make their users bow down to their "we are the best forum ever" clause? xD Okay last jab, I promise They are definitely the hardest forum; so hard, you can barely register or use their site! Should have named it "[H]arda$$ [F]orum".

I've not read those rules and find it wierd that "no cussing" is allowed in the Sig, but in the body of the Posts, that rule doesn't apply. They are not really that bad with cussing either, but are free to express themselves in whatever 4-letter word fits the mood. The people at [H] are great Folders and technicians of Folding though. So, I don't think much about the HardOCP site rules when thinking about the people that are our Folding brethren over there.

After 1 week of intense folding when I start the computer one of the two fans from the video card started to sound like is decentered (spelled right?)...what can I do? After 3-4 minutes it goes back to normal. There is no dust. I clean my system on a regular basis using compressed air. I know it's a little off the contest but any help is appreciated.

Are you meaning it rattles or vibrates to a level that creates sound? If so, it is possible the fan bearings are all used up. Eventually the fan will quit working if this is the case. On the other hand, it is completely normal for a fan to spin up to a high RPM and then back down to the RPMs set in Precision...

DarKSeeD Rattles and vibrates like the blades are hitting the encasing. The card has around 1 year of use - GTX560Ti from MSI - http://www.msi.com/produc...Twin-Frozr-II-OC.html. Have you tried taking the shroud off and checking the fan mounts? That had happened to my EVGA GTX560 last month, and I just had to carefully take it apart, take the fan off, and reseat it. EDIT: 100th post! Woot!

I added the beta flag a few days after the M@Dness began. I have not seen a change in PPD but it may be I just have not got a "good" WU. Previously I saw estimated PPD around 120K on some WUs on my 680, instead of the 25.5K I'm seeing now. I thought the beta flag was no longer needed and had removed it but thought I would see if still had an effect.

Pretty much... the beta WU's tend to be less stable at times and also the PPD not as 'defined' as the WU's that are civilized. Overall, due to the removal of the beta flag, I went from an average of 62-65K PPD to 77K-80K PDD depending on what I get.

Unfortunately it is. However, contest or not keep folding/crunching. It's for the greater good. Also, there are contests for both the folders and crunchers throughout the year and you are more than welcome to join either or better yet both! Just stay tuned to this channel and join in one of the greatest adventures of humanity. A cure for others... it doesn't get any finer than that!
