Yea wolf its happening on our team too, it made it look like bobc36 on our team was under producing since big advance units take a few days to complete. If that continues the team will lose points every other day on that member due to the way the new point system is setup this year. Troy should figure out a way to fix this.

I also under estimated. I Thought I would be around 40k PPD. but i'm actually at about 60K PPD

I think all any of us can do is take our best shot at the estimates and then hang-on for what really happens.  I think Bobc36 (like Wolf and myself ) is a Bigadv Folder last I heard.  Man those things can be so all over the place in points.  I think we also have to allow for "life things" that happen that are unexpected.  If a team member's points aren't coming together, then IMO it's up to the rest of the Team to step up if they can.  I say if, because I have no idea what additional resources every team has at their disposal.  Above all, let's just have fun and let the points fall where they fall.  We have a 1 Billion point nut to crack as well, so overproduction is at least a "friend" to that goal!

Question, could someone explain what's going on here?
I'm just a tad over 100k above my guesstimated production PPD with a loss of almost 600k,
yet Horvat is almost 200k over his with no loss of any points?

Sorry I really don't understand how this point system works.
Looking at others PPD it looks like your allowed about 30k above the projected PPD you thought you might turn a day.
Any thing above that 30k you get nothing or a big drop.
 

If you think your points aren't correct ask troy to take a look at it, I did that and they were able to correct it. Not sure if a few others don't have the formula applied correctly or not.

It's way early, but I'm encouraged by the first 3 days of performance for our overall Folding Team.  We could pull 1 Billion off if we can "stick to our guns"!  Ooops, that statement probably has Madrias drooling for a chicken neck about now. 
 
We tally-whacked [H]'s points yesterday too by a couple Mil.    I know, it's first of the month, but we'll take every positive move we can get to lay waste to the elusive 1-Bil milestone.  Over-produce, do what you hafta and let's run that number to ground ahead of the 31st!

Can I have the PPD modified? After the client update it seems the points are higher and now I have a production around 12000PPD.

rules are rules - no changing or modifying after the contest starts
that's what brought in the problems from last year
 
you read the rules and were aware of making sure of your Estimate before hand and we gave ample time for people to get estimates and refine/re-submit them prior to the contest
 
drbricks and CarldXPC are both 10% over there posted PPD
if I remember right last year it's starts cutting in after that
 
I have teammates on my team in similar boats even tho my team is underproducing
you don't see me complaining - them's the rules and formula
 
remember nature and luck come into play as well as your team's drive to overcome
 
teams ahead of your could go down due to weather or rigs going down(a number of issues pop into my mind here- like poor WU's, wife turning rig off.kids, family,cat....include Mad paying you a visit)

Thats what im going to do. its all about increasing the teams ppd and breaking 1 billion this month. ill do all i can to increase mine. maybe some more overclocking!!!!!
