Can you imagine... If EVGA were to take all of their testing benches for RMA products, and fold on them when they leave for the day with GTX580s or GTX590s.  That could easily equal 16 hours per day of folding X 3-4 cards per bench X lots of benches.  And there are 2 weekends during CC, so we would have Friday @ 6PM - Monday @ 8AM straight of folding.
 
I can't image a better way to test RMA graphics cards and support our team at the same time EVGA staff.

Its definitely better this time around. There was a lot of heartache and sweat that went into this formula, so hopefully the handicap isnt quite so unbalanced.

How'r we comin' on that announcement/enlistment thingy that EVGA is going to help us with?  I see that (as of today) OCN has 200 people already signed up and I think we are at ~53.  Not being pushy, just wonderin'...and hoping for some enlistment from spreadin' the word.

I was actually wondering that myself. I can start Pming everyone on EVGA myself I guess. That's a lot of typing...

Basically last year troy created a list of members sorted by PPD, and had a template for the PM. If he is unable to do that then I will try to come up with a list and a template as well. I would say each person gets assigned a certain block of names on the list. After you finish those then you get your next block assigned.

Sorry fellas, I've been out of the Forum the past 24 hrs and am just catching back up.  I was really excited to hear that EVGA might be sending it out for us since it is time consuming to send out all those PMs (5 people at a time).  I know, because I helped Troy (along with several other volunteers) do that last year.  Also, the distribution was limited to just people that Fold IIRC.  I was hoping that we could reach a larger portion of people via whatever methods that EVGA might have at their disposal. 
 
Last year, we also attempted to post a CC 2011 request for participation in some of the other (non-Folding) EVGA Forums and that was met with varied response.  &   I got a variety of reactions from "hey didn't know about it, I will help" all the way to "this is unwelcome, don't come in here and SPAM this Forum". 
 
Has anyone heard back from EVGA (Shane or someone) to see if they are able to help with emails or PM's?  I saw where they said they could do some sort of rotating banner for us and maybe that is all they can do...don't really know.  If the only way to get the word out to individuals is to use that same list we used last year, then so be it and I will help again.

I'll have time this weekend to help and PM team members, just let me know.
 
And I didn't see anything about a prize pool yet or will there be no prize pool this year.

Well I guess my idea of mass spamming everyone won't work then? lol. Glad to hear your dad's out of the hospital, finally. Well if you guys want to do prizes we have enough time to set it up. It will be just for ourselves. As far as word from Shane or Rob, I havent gotten any. The trouble with the friends Ive made in the other forums is.... well one is Adak, another is from [H].
