Ok guys. I realized this wasn't set up yet. Just like last year, the prizes will be awarded only to those who fold the entire 10 days. This requires screenshots with a web based timer. The contest starts at 12pm PDT. Since not everyone is awake in their respective times zones, Im thinking, possibly a 12 hour period in which you have to get your screenshot submitted. Mind you it will be only 12 hours from 12pm PDT. IF you submit any later it will not be counted and your name will not be entered for the prizes. If anyone needs help with screenshots here it is. Windows 7/Vista/XP MAC OS X If you Linux guys need help, then I can PM it, but I usually assume anyone who is using Linux is able to do a screenshot. And I dont know how it was done last year but would something like this work for a timestamp? http://www.worldtimeserver.com/atomic-clock/ Its a downloadable file that displays the time based off of your current windows settings.

Oh boy, i have to get on a train tonight and wont be back until wednesday morning. If im reading this correctly i wont be able to get a screen shot in the time frame. Oh well, just gonna fold away!..Already started em up under the EVGApes. Edit...is this screenshot required for everyday of the 10 days or just the one within 12 hours?

Im not sure. Like I said i dont know how this was run last year. I guess if you have a special case like yours Pm me or Xavier and we'll see about working something out for your authentication. Myself I just want a screenshot at the beginning and at the end. This might not be a good plan, but its what would seem to be easiest.

If I remember correctly, all that was required was that at some point AFTER the start, you had a screenshot as outlined above, with your stats showing at least one wu above 50% towards the EVGApes name. Preferably, it'd be ALL of your systems in the screenshot for EVGAPes, but only one had to be above 50%. Feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken, however. I do that a lot . . . Where'd I put my car...

Drougnor is correct from what I remember. Here is my approved screenshot form last year as an example. Notepad with forum name and Chimp Challenge 2012, www.time.gov open in a window, and F@H running with one WU at least 50% complete. We need a Prize thread with important info and how to enter, where people can post their screenshots.

So basically a morning shot and a night time shot? To show progress? Gotcha I'ma do a snap of what shown above, I'd assume using the atomic clock on time.gov is good still?

Last year it was only 1 screenshot. From devdog's post it looks like we need to submit one screen from the first 12hrs of the CC. I think maybe 24 hrs is better so that we can see WU's over 50% and give people time to get home from work, wake up, etc.

as long as you show a screen shot or two over the competition with at least 50% with a timestamp(webpage) Id take it that's what it should be this is just to filter out those that join in - but don't participate final requirement we should have a minimum for new folders that they fold for at required amount of time to qualify

I'm definitely new, only been on the team for maybe a month now and got my mobo back from rma about 2 weeks ago now. Since then, most of my resources have been focused on the pentathlon till now, so my folding team contribution isn't where it could be. Is there a minimum point contribution requirement also?

how about we start a new thread for screenshots and contest entry requirements then we only have to look thru 1 thread for them - a must the client you are using must show your username and team no (tracker does this on main screen) with stanfords v6 or v7 clients you will have to show config screen you must use a web service time stamp like asus939 1. for established members 1 screenshot with 1 WU at 50% or more (if you been folding for 1 month or more for EVGA) 2. for new members just joined(under 1 month) 2 screenshots one near beginning and one near the end (5 days apart) ( in one post please - that means either posting them at once or re-editing and adding the second shot) hows that or do you want to give prizes away only to established members?

So is this stats page correct or is there another one some where? I ask because the points don't make sense if this is accurate. It shows EVGApes with 33.76 CCPs for points, but we arent close to that level yet, from my understanding of the rules.

tanner2 I don't know how to do this in ubuntu 11.04 In my copy of Ubuntu 11.04 it is: - Click on "Applications" - Select "Accessories" - Select "Take Screenshot" app. - The app opens and I find it better to use the "Select area to grab" option for the screenshot. If you are running the Console client as I do for Folding, then grab a screen-shot of the Terminal window for the running WU. That will show WU progress percentage and in my mind would be proof. Hope this helps...
